Last Sunday brought little Alex out...

Thought want to bring her to arcade centre to catch more toys... So we end up at Douby Ghaut, went to the acrade centre there. Took her around to check out what toys are nice and unique. And guess what the little girl said to me? "Momo dun want...." and she is shaking her head when I asks her if she wants this or not... Another soft toy, maybe? And she still gives me the same answer. So I guess she doesn't want any soft toys...

There is a kite flying exhibition outside so I took her and we snap some pics of the kites.

Tell ppl to fly kite, huh?

.
.
Those hexagon kites are in fact painted by school children. Not bad, huh?
.
Doesn't know where to take little Alex to go cos' I still need to work at night, so I just walk downwards to City Hall.

Then I passed by Singapore National Museum, and I saw the same 3 designs which I took the last time. I decided to re-take them once more, cos' the last time I took them during the nite time. This time is broad daylight.
.
.

Now can see his features clearer...

Clearer, right?

Hmm... it doesn't look quite friendly...
.
.
Lately, little Alex got this habit of keep on repeating she wants to take the MRT whenever we are out. Even when we are taking the bus, she will keep on whinning she wants to take the train. So I tell her then go out we shall take the bus, when going home then we will take the train.
.
"Go out sit bus, go home take train train"...

Wow!!! I didn't know that Malaysia is exploding!!!

Near Bukit Merah exit

.
.
Last Saturday took little Alex out... I doesn't know where to take her to, so I took her to Suntec City.

Hmm... Saturday morning doesn't have much ppl going out....yet. She was gesturing to me that she is hungry so I bought for her a cheese sausage. She loves it and she insists on eating it while we walk. Soon she finished it, leaving me with none. But I told her I doesn't want it "Momo eat alone, papa cannot eat". She addresses herself as momo to me...

Since the time is still early so I took her to the arcade centre. We walk around the place and little Alex was looking at the UFO machine, rather looking at the soft toys inside the UFO machine. So I ask little Alex does she want "this"? She nod her head, and so I change some tokens from the machine. $1 one catch....
.

.
.
I didn't managed to catch it. The claws did grab it but it didn't lift the toy up successfully. I told little Alex "too bad". I got another 2 tokens with me, so I decided to give it another try. Anyway I oso doesn't know what to do with them too. I inserted the last 2 tokens and give it a try again. This time I moved the claws a bit more to the right and.... I got it!!!

I rescued the Mickey Mouse out!!! Japanese one, with slippers too...

She was so happy and she likes it so much... She doesn't allow me to touch it and she wants to carry it herself.
.

Price to catching it : $2
Price to putting a smile on her face : priceless

.
I saw there is a exhibition below so I took little Alex down to see....
.

It was a exhibition featuring many countries their costumes from all over the world. Not all the countries here but quite a number of it.
.
.

So many of them and I can't possibly upload them all here. Well, I can but I doesn't want to. I can upload them 5 at a time... So I just post a few of them here.
.
Anyway, the exhibition is over now. It's till 22nd of August...
.
.

.
.
I have to leave the place soon cos' little Alex is making a lot of noise there. She is hungry again. I went back to the same store again and bought another 2 hotdogs; one cheese and one mushroom. We were sitting at the top, just opposite Marina Square. She is really hungry, you know? She can finished 2 sausages. Many ppl walked past were looking the Japanese Mickey Mouse which I placed it sitting beside us. Some young gals even keep staring at it looking back even they are already walked past. I guess they knew where it came from.
.
After she had finished her food, we took the train back home. She is full and sleeping in my arms whereas I gotta carry her bag and now her new soft toy for her.
.
Now at home, she will, from time to time, carry her Mickey Mouse walking around.

Got back from work... Met little Alex and my dad downstairs... Little Alex was so happy when she saw me, she came running to me and wants me to hug her. She was drenched in her clothes... My dad told me that she was standing in the rain, refused to go back home cos' she was waiting for me to come home. So touched hearing that...

I fed her with a bottle of milk and we bathe together. Get dressed and I took her out. She wanted to take the MRT but I told her the place we are going later is more convenience by taking bus. We alighted at Orchard, little Alex is already sleeping in my arms. I went to Borders to check out the books, she then awake with her hair a bit messy. Let her drink from her water bottle, sit at the bench for a while...

Then we went to ION, she doesn't want to stay there for too long so we walk downwards. When we reached Takashimaya, she told me she was hungry so I bought for her some Hello Panda biscuits. Sit down outside Takashimaya... Little Alex was lying on my legs eating her biscuits. Then come a student he claims he's from Taiwan and he wants to do a short survey with me. Since I can't go anywhere so I help him to fill up a few questions. Lastly he took a picture with me and little Alex.

We continue walking downwards... Reached Meritus Hotel, took little Alex inside for a walk. Since we are there, I took little Alex with me to check out Chatterbox and Top of the M buffet restaurants....

Then we reached Cathay, I have to drag little Alex inside to wash her hands cos' they are so sticky. And I saw this:

Nice bike, huh?

Watched the Movie, Salt, yet?

And for our dinner, I took little Alex to Mad Jack @ POMO. In fact there are a couple of times I wanted to bring her there but she always shake her head. This time round she actually want to eat there. The timing was still early so we went to Cold Storage below for a short tour.

By the time we went back again, the tables inside are all taken so I took the table outside. Little Alex was drawing on the menu ordering slip while I look through the menu. I ask her what she wants to eat, show her a few options and guess what she choose? Beef lasagne...

Weight-Watcher: Carrot, tomato and cucumber...

Immunity-Booster: Orange, apple, cucumber.... this is for little Alex.

Grilled Ribeye with black pepper sauce... plus a little itchy hand.

Beef Lasagne.
.
The kitchen actually forgets my order and even after I had finished my Ribeye, it still have not arrived yet. I need to remind them again. I tolf her little Alex that this is what she ordered so she better finished it up. She took a bite and she told me she doesn't want it anymore...
.
Reason: She said it's too spicy for her.
.
So I end up finishing for her.
.
I thought of taking her to Coffee Bean for some spaghetti but she doesn't want to eat there.

Saw there is a display of dunno what was that, I just snap a few pics of them.
.

I took her for a walk inside CHIJMES. We were sitting at the stairs, I was telling her next time we shall eat there, eat there. She just nod her head.
.
Then she told me she wants to go home already.
.
So we took the train back home. When we reached Boon Lay, little Alex told me she is hungry so we went to Banquet for abalone noodles. While eating half-way, she told me she wants to go to toilet. I told her to finish her noodles then we go to toilet. She doesn't want to eat and she tried to get from from the tall chair, so I finished the noodles for her and hurried carry her to the toilet.
.
That little Alex, earlier her face was like so sour. After relieving herself, she was laughing.
.
Yesterday was the day where I didn't let her wear diapers when we were out. I think it's time that she can do without it.

I last nite ask little Alex that too... Guess what she said?

Just finished reading this book The Leader Who Had No Title by Robin Sharma.

Just some sharing I read from this book:
.
10 Human Regrets
1. You reach your last day with the brilliant song that your life was meant to sing still silent within you.
2. You reach your last day without ever having experienced the natural power that inhabits you to do great work and achieve great things.
3. You reach your last day realizing that you never inspired anyone else by the example that you set.
4. You reach your last day full of pain at the realization that you never took any bold risks and so you never received any bright rewards.
5. You reach your last day understanding that you missed the opportunity to catch a glimpse of mastery because you bought into the lie that you had to be resigned to mediocrity.
6. You reach your last day and feel heartbroken that you never learned the skill of transforming adversity into victory and lead into gold.
7. You reach your last day regretting that you forgot that work is about being radically helpful to others rather than being helpful only to yourself.
8. You reach your last day with the awareness that you ended up living the life that society trained you to want versus leading the life you truly want to have.
9. You reach your last day and awaken to the fact that you never realized your absolute best not touched the special genius that you were built to become.
10. You reach your last day and discover you could have been a leader and left this world so much better than you found it. But you refused to accept that mission because you were just too scared. And so you failed. And wasted a life.
.
10 Human Victories
1. You reach your end full of happiness and fulfillment on realizing that you are all used up - having spent the fullness of your talents, the biggest of your resources, and best of your potential doing great work and leading a rare-air life.
2. You reach your end knowing that you played at a standard of concentrated excellence and held yourself to the most impeccable of standards in each thing that you did.
3. You reach your end in noisy celebration for having the boldness of spirit to have regularly confronted your largest fears and realized your highest visions.
4. You reached your end and recognized that you became a person who built people up versus one who torn people down.
5. You reach your end with the understanding that while your journey may not always been a smooth one, whenever you get knocked down you instantly got back up - and at all times, never suffered from any loss of optimism.
6. You reach your end and bask in the staggering glory of your phenomenal achievements along with the rich value you have contributed to the lives of the people you were lucky to serve.
7. You reach your end and adore the strong, ethical, inspirational, and empathetic person you grew into.
8. You reach your end and realize that you were a genuine innovator who blazed new trails instead of following old roads.
9. You reach your end surrounded with teammates who call you a rock star, customers who say you're a hero, and loved ones who call you a legend.
10. You reach your end as a true Leader Without a Title, knowing that the great deeds you did will endure long after your death and that your life stand as a model of possibility.
