I just discovered an interesting picture...

Looks cool, huh?

There are rumours saying that Obama is a Herbalife distributor too. What do you think?

The Best Motivational Video Ever

Ok, a quick post before I need to go out.

Last nite I watched Avatar. The show was damn great, the 3D effects is damn great. You can almost feel the people right in front of you. A show really worth watching, again.

Took momo out again. I didn't know that momo know how to appreciate Starbucks. I took her to shop at Jurong Point. Earlier on, we had lunch at the food court. She was sharing noodles with me... We had noodles or rice?!?! Anyway, we had our lunch there and then some desserts. Momo was greedy, she not only had hers she also want mine.

We are walking at the Jurong Point Extension, walked past Starbucks. There are not so many ppl there. Momo said she want to eat something. Not "say" as in say, her gestures told me she is glutton. So I was thinking of maybe treating her to Häagen-Dazs ice cream but she dun want to eat there. So....

Then I whispered to her shall we go to Starbucks, cos' Coffee Bean looks quite empty, and she nod her head. So Starbucks, that's it. I had her seated at the table while I ordered for us Green Tea Frappucino. She didn't want to let go of it initially. She was holding onto it for like, past 5 minutes. And she drank about 20% of it.

A few months ago, momo loathe bathing now she loves bathing. Sometimes when I told her to sit put there while I got to take a bathe, she will scream, jump onto her feet, ran to her room, take her towel and pull my hand to the bathroom. She loves it when I bathe her. Soon she need to bathe on her own. Momo is smart, she learns fast. She can almost remember correctly all the names of the animals I told her. There is once I said the animal type wrongly and momo actually corrected me.

Jim Rohn - inspirational words of wisdom

This world is full of dream stealers. They tried to steal your dreams. Like Jim Rohn said "forget about the thief in the alleys who is after your purse, beware of the thief in your mind that is after your dreams". There are about 9 or 10 real nasty people. They good thing is they move around alot. When you meet one, you said "There are 9 more nasty people like you, in the whole world... I can handle that!"

Someone asked "what do you think my life is going to be in the next 10 years?"
"If you doesn't change what you are doing now, your next 10 years will be the same as the previous 10 years"
"Hey, you dun even know me, you dun even know my background!!"
"I dun need to know who you are or your background. For things to change, you got to change. For things to get better, you got to get better."

Teachings from Jim Rohn.

Ok... short post here.

Yesterday I was supposed to take momo out. I told her the night before that we are going out tomorrow so she should be a good girl and sleep early cos' we are leaving the house early in the morning. Maybe she understands, maybe she dun... I dunno. Anyway, in the morning I bathe her, in fact we bathe together... 2 person in their birthday suit in the bathroom, one big and one small playing with water *ok, cut the the exotic part*. I dry her and get her dressed up in the new dress I bought for her. It was pretty big for her, though.

So we left the house and while on the way momo was beating me cos' she was hungry. So I took her to the food court @ Pioneer Mall. She said she wants to eat noodles... She just took a few bites and she was crying in pain cos' she got ulcers in her mouth. I knew that we can't go out in this situation... I was planning to treat momo to some yum yum in the town area in my mind. Anyway, I took her to the doctor in the afternoon after getting a queue number. So we went home and momo was watching her DVD in my room...

Soon it was time for her to go to the doctor. Change her diapers, make her drink a little water and off we go. I reached the clinic early and the doctor wasn't here yet. So we walked around and I had my lunch...

When we returned back to the clinic again, we had missed 2 queue number. So gotta wait...

Lately momo is talking and singing when she is at home. And she is a busybody too. She will wipe the floor, help you to button your shirts, clean the tables... Shen even learn how to make her own milk now. Whenever she wants milk, I would ask her "Papa make or momo make?" She will point to herself, so I help her to pour the hot water and she will scoop the milk powder herself. Then I will do the adding of water for her and shake the bottle.

She sometimes will lay the bed for me, put my pillow beside hers.

Recently she lost her fav soft toy, a tofu. She always take it with her when she goes out. Since the last trip after we came back, it went missing. Maybe it was too small to be noticed. It could be hiding in some rooms/corners/drawers/cupboards... When the time is ripe it will appears. Momo got this habit of stuffing things in my bag or anywhere she can find. Sometimes when I open the drawer and I saw those things that was "missing". I "lost" my key pouch, my comb, etc before and found them later.

Today is Sunday, Sunday is for family day. I bring momo to Central, as what I said in my previous post. Momo wake up quite early this morning, but it was too early to bring her out. I told her to sleep for a while more, maybe by 9am we shal bathe together and off we go.

I told her to drink her milk before we leave cos' I know that she will bound to be hungry in the MRT and when she is hungry she will make a lot of noise. She did drink her milk but she only drank half of the amount. And sure enough, when we are only at Clementi station she was making noise and I gotta alight and get something for her to eat. Grab a bite and we proceed our journey again. Momo is always like that, when you ask her if she wants to eat this, she will nod her head. After you bought it, then she doesn't want to eat hers and want yours.

We reached Central @ Clarke Quay...

I wanted to take her to dine at Billy Bombers, but it was still closed. Then I saw there is Manhattan Fish Market just next to it. It got a kiddy menu, though. I asked momo is she wants to dine in but she didn't really reply me so I guess the answer is negative. I apologise to the waitress and I was figuring out where to take momo next. I was looking at the directory...

Burger King at level 1.

In my mind I was thinking why do we need to come all the way to Central just to eat Burger King? Jurong Point has it... Nevertheless we still eat there for our lunch.

Just when we are walking around, I saw there is this "Sizzle On Ice" event. It will start at 1pm and the time, at that time, is only 12:30pm. So I sit momo on the seats but she keep on running around. I had to catch her back a couple of times, tsk tsk...

Finally the show starts.

Well, it was a performance by 5 Australian ice skaters, 2 of them are in fact Australian National Champions. Yes, ice skating @ Central. It may sound unbelievable but it's true. The stage is actually a mini ice skating rink. How was it possible? According to the compere, there are about half a km of pipe running beneath it. There is this giant compressor that emits out gas. As it emits out it actually absorb the heat, so the water turns into ice.

Nice, huh?
And if you purchased anything and your receipt is above $30, your kids get to learn ice skating from the National champions, at the rink itself. Not really ice skating but just simple skating around. All they take is just 20 mins and your kids can learn how to ice skate.
I took momo out of Central and we went opposite to Clarke Quay. At that time, the sky is getting dark and it's kinda windy so I assumed it's going to rain soon. Well, Clarke Quay is more suitable if you go there at nite. During the day, nothing much to see. Well, there is something to see actually... Hooters girls. They wear tight tops and shorts.
We went over to Liang Court. There is no more Daimaru...
I took momo to Audio House at level 4. It got a corner for kids, a plasma TV showing cartoons and a mini playground. We watched Disney cartoon for a while. We couldn't went out cos' it was raining heavily, so we walked around the place....
Then I saw this coffee chain...
I doesn't know if there is any other outlets here in Singapore but I think it's really cool...
Trung Nguyen Coffee. Just in case you still blur blur, it's a Vietnamese name. Can you imagine at Liang Court there is a Vietnamese coffee chain. I walked nearer and take a look at the menu. It was similar to Coffee Bean. The window display @ the counter shows some cakes and croissants. Maybe you want to check it out yourself?
The rain stopped and we make a move back to Central.
Momo is hungry...
Now I knows how to tell if she is hungry or not. I'm not going to tell you the symptoms...
Earlier on, before we went to Liang Court she already had black glutinous dessert. You know what, the Kopitiam at Central sucks. They doesn't even have a single baby chair. I need to stack 3 chairs over each other for momo just to sit high enough to eat her dessert.
And now we were back again to Central. Well, no matter what we still have to come back to Central. We need to take MRT from there.
I took momo to have her dinner or lunch, don't know what to call it cos' the time was 4 plus pm. Where we patron?
Manhattan Fish Market...

The waitress gave me a $5 discount voucher. I dun remember if the waitress is the same one earlier that serve me. Anyway I didn't use it for my bill.
Momo was a happy girl there. She had her kiddy meal; orange juice and fish & chips. She didn't touch the "fish", only the chips she ate. She keep drinking from my cup. I had my Christmas Under The Sea; Santa Pick For One with Mahi Mahi. Oh yes, btw mahi mahi is a common name for dolphin-fish in Hawaiian. It is a kind of fish, not a dolphin and it is not at all related to dolphins.
So the trip to Central is quite a success. Where will the next outing be?

Lately this song is pretty popular, Nobody by Wondergirls.
Noti momo was crying just now... She was awoken by my dad, cos' he adjusted her pillow for her and momo didn't like it, apparently. So I need to pacify her.

Now momo is sleeping in my bed and I didn't want to sleep so I blogged here.

Didn't know what to blog here...

So I just upload some pics that was from our little gathering happened last week.

We got 3 choices to choose from: Carousel, Straits Kitchen or Tiffany. Everyone chose Carousel.... Got one fella choose Straits Kitchen. So we only need to pay $13, instead of $53. $40 is for us to utilise for our makan. In fact there are so many of us that we got different slots. Even if we were to book the whole place, it's still not enough tables for all of us.

This is Emie, I called her ah mie. She drives a Hyundai Getz. She and me used to guess what model is this car, that car at work...

I also didn't know since when it got so many ppl joining in...

See, initially it was only 5 of us. Oh yes, btw 5 of us are from the same batch during training. 4 of us are staying nearby to each other...

Many ppl, huh? In fact this was just half of the number. No girls (except one lady) and the other half had left on their own.

This is our table. Taken before we went to "attack" the food.

I saw it outside the restaurant. It should be nicer but I don't know why the effect is like that.
Okay, momo didn't make any more noise for some time now... So I guess she is dreaming already. Time for me to sleep too...

The Passing of a Legend

With great sadness we share that Jim Rohn, our mentor and friend, left us December 5, 2009 for a better place.

Over the past 18 months, in his battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, Jim assured us with a smile that all is good, that he would fight until the last breath, yet he had no fear as to what would be next. Jim’s faith was as much a part of his life as his desire to inspire and challenge us all to be the best we could be and to live our dreams.

Jim’s courage in his final months and days were a testament to his message that we should all fight the good fight. He never gave up and never gave in.

Jim Rohn touched millions of lives over the past 46 years through his seminars, books, articles and CDs. He always stayed long after an event t o shake hands, take pictures and sign autographs. He loved making a difference in people’s lives, that was his passion and inspiration. Yet he was also a private man who kept a small, loyal and caring inner circle. He was a tremendous friend to those who knew him.

Harold Dyke, long time close friend of Jim’s for over 55 years said it best, “As Jim is ending one life he is simultaneously being birthed into a new life. One that he has talked about over the years and anticipated with great joy in his last remaining days.”

Kyle Wilson, long time colleague and friend of Jim had this to say about his mentor, “Jim Rohn was a great human being. Jim had the rare ability to take any concept or idea and then frame it in such a way that the rest of us could see it more clearly. His wisdom and insights positively affected everyone he touched on some level and to so many of us it was in an extraordinary way. But even more impressive was Jim Rohn the man. He possessed style and charisma, yet was humble, kind and understated to all who knew him. I find myself every day reflecting, benefiting and passing on the wisdom and ideas that are rooted in Jim’s message and wisdom. Jim is irreplaceable on every level. I will miss him beyond words, but am comforted as I know he was, that his message and legacy will live on and positively change millions of lives over the years to come!”

Someone once said “when you are born you enter the world crying while everyone else is rejoicing and when you die hopefully you have lived such a life that everyone will be crying while you are rejoicing”.

Jim Rohn lived such a life. Jim’s family asked us to thank all of you for your concern, prayers and love toward their father and grandfather, which has been so evident during the past 18 months.

Darren Hardy, dedicated student and Jim Rohn protégé for more than 15 years, said of Jim, “He was the most influential man in my life, second only to my father. Jim cemented my philosophical foundation and nourished my mind with ideas and ambitions never before imagined. He chiseled my character seminar by seminar, tape by tape, book by book, then CD by CD, hour by hour. Jim emboldened my belief, in me and in my most daring dreams. When I fell and was bloodied, he was there with encouraging words to help me get back up. When I didn’t think I could go on, Jim convinced me I was stronger than I imagined. When I wanted a shortcut, he reminded me there aren’t any. Even when I got too caught up in trying to achieve and succeed, Jim compelled me to leave room to live, to laugh and to love.”

Stuart Johnson, business associate and long-time admirer, said, “I was first introduced to the philosophies and teachings of Jim Rohn almost 25 years ago. And he made an immediate impression on me. I was amazed by how this modest and unassuming man could communicate such an extraordinarily powerful message in simple and straightforward terms. In person, one-on-one, he was as humble and down-to-earth as he was in front of an audience of thousands. I will treasure my personal memories of Jim and know that I will forever benefit from the wisdom of this remarkable man.”

There will be a private funeral held in the coming days. Plans and details are also being arranged for a Public Memorial Service to be held in the Los Angeles area in the coming weeks. Details will be announced upon final confirmation at the Jim Rohn Tribute Site.

We know Mr. Rohn is looking down on us at this very moment with a smile saying I did it, I gave it my all, I went for it, now it’s your turn. Go for it. Make your life a life worth living well!

View a special tribute to Jim at the Jim Rohn Tribute Site produced earlier this year and debuted at the March 2009 SUCCESS Symposium. You are also encouraged to post your thoughts and remembrances of Jim on the Memorial Wall.

Jim fondly closed his programs with the following sentiments: “I go with you in all the experience that we’ve had. But I promise you this as we leave here: I will not leave you behind. I’ll take you with me in my thoughts and in my heart.”

Just went to GV to watch Ninja Assassin, starring Rain.

Wow, he is really fit, man.

The whole show is really nice, although a bit violent. Just imagine you're being sliced into half without you knowing, in a flash of a lightning, without you knowing who did it.

Earlier on, we went to play arcade cos' the show starts really late, or really early in the morning. We got a lot of time so we went to the arcade centre trying to complete "Silent Hill". Guess what, we are the last one to leave the centre. We couldn't complete it, not that we didn't have enough credits but it was closing. The staffs went around to switch off all the rest of the machines, only ours is still on.
Anyway, we left the place and went to Mac for a bite cos' it's still "early".

Ok, I just got up from my sleep from nite shift last nite.

Since I got some time before I fetch the girl home, I blogged!!

I was lucky enough to get to know so many ppl all around the world who shared the same dream as I do, that is to help people to get better in their health. I love to hear from my distributors/customers when they sms/call me saying that they have lost 1kg... 2kg... 5kg...

Some photos to share here...

Look, how amazing this is!!! We got our own Herbalife plane... Stewardess pushing the meal cart that serves you nothing but shakes, and the shakes comes in many different favours.

Wow.. does this look familiar to you? When you walk on the streets, the bellies greet you before the person?

Funded unlimited by the US Government on his research in Human Nutrition, Cancer and Obesity, one of the top 6 doctors in US.

You know of any companies on the surface of the earth who got a Nobel Prize Laureate in their company?

We got the best CEO in our company, the man from the magic kingdom.

It all happened bcos' of a man, got no educational background about nutrition, no money, no knowledge about doing business or whatsoever, with long hair, grow up in the tough side of the town. All he has is a dream, it all started with a dream.

This is a really great design, esp for ppl like me who needs to bring their kids to the toilet with them. Want to know where? Stay tuned...

There are buttons at the right side... Temperature settings for your toilet seat, the water flushing on/off button. Yes, you can determine when to stop washing your butt. What is the fun part is there are even buttons to press for you to wash your front or rear?!?! I mean the rear, everyone understands what's that for, but for the front? I think the washing system is designed for both sexes. Short blogging before I go to bed in, say, 30 mins time.
Long story short, now is Christmas season so everywhere you can see lightings. Thought of bringing momo to take some pics for her, but she just cannot look into the camera. On top of that, she loves to touch the decorations, so...

I doesn't know why there are so many deers used for this year's Christmas "main star". Maybe... who knows...
Yesterday I took momo out again. Lately momo has been going out often. That girl loves to go out. Other than that when she gets hungry she will get a little bit noisy, she is still a good girl. I told her in the early morning that we are going out later so she better gets some sleep. She doesn't want to sleep.... ok, so I feed her one more time before we went out. You know, when she knows that I am going to bathe, she ran to take her towel too.
It's really good to bathe together. Father and daughter...
Soon momo will be a big girl and she has to bathe herself. So better cherish such moments... It will be some sweet memories to remember.
She can't finished her usual bottle of milk so I drank the remaining. Get her changed and off we go. She said she doesn't want to take bus, she wants to walk to the MRT station. When she wants to walk, she will really walk on her own.
So this time, where did we go? Plaza Singapura...
We spent most of our day there. Amazing, huh? We reached there quite early and I dun feel hungry yet. I ask the girl if she wants to eat lunch, she shake her head so we went around the mall first. Thought of treating her to Manhattan Fish Market but I doesn't know if she likes the food there or not. You know those grilled fish, mussels, prawns, calamaris... I mean, at home she does eat prawns and fish but at the restaurant maybe a totally different thing. Well, I guess it doesn't worth the risk, wait till she is a little older.
*momo, momo faster grow up. Papa got many food want to eat with you, many places want to go with you*
After that, we went to Central Orchard. The only time that I ever went window shopping is when I was taking momo out. Other times, I didn't have the time to really go inside the mall. Momo was a bad girl there, she keeps on running about, up the stairs and down the stairs.
The pic you see at the top was taken in Central Orchard. Momo was sitting at the designated chair, trapped. She can't come down and disturb me, hoho...
I thought of taking momo to ION before we went home. As we walked past Cineleisure, momo said she wants to eat dessert. Nah, it was me actually. I asked her if she wants any dessert. Momo nods her head. We had durian chendol... The manager of the food court was helping me to bring the toddler's chair over to the table when he spotted me. Nice guy, no wonder he is the manager... *lame, lame...*
Last place to go, ION. We walked there, along the way there are many ppl taking photos so I was like walk 10 steps then stop, then walk again for another 10m then stop again. Momo doesn't care so much cos' she was actually in my arms. I knew that she is getting tired. She whispered to my ears she wants to sleep. So as a matter of fact, we didn't shop at ION. I walked there, with the intention of taking a look there, but we end up walking into ION, and then to the MRT station, and we go home.
Next time round, shall take momo to Central @ Clarke Quay.

Tuesday, November 24, 2009

Okay, seize the chance that momo is not at home at this moment...
She is enjoying herself at the school right now. Later I still need to fetch her and maybe give her a little treat at the dessert store.
The last 2 days I was down with fever, whole body is aching and my head hurts like hell but still I went to work. So hard to endure throughout the nite shift.
Yesterday when I fetched momo from school, the girl was saying she want to go shopping. In fact, she just want to go jalan around before going home. But I was not feeling well so I just told her that papa is having fever so can we go home instead.

She said: "Papa fever momo fever" and she touched her own forehead, as though she is having fever too. And so we went home. Momo can be pretty obedient, sometimes....

The day before...

I took momo out for window shopping.

Didn't know where to take her but anyway I dressed her up and we went out. She wore the long dress that was in her collection for ages. Prior, that dress was too long for her. The dress will be sweeping the floor as she walks, but now it was just nice for her... Hmm.. since there isn't any pics for you to see, it's about her shin level.
We were taking the MRT, we alighted at Clementi station cos' momo was complaining she was hungry. She gotta to be hungry cos' she had her milk at 4 am and we left home around 9am. I bought for her a swiss roll and myself a, mexico bun. And needless to say, momo wants my mexico bun and she pushed her swiss roll to me.

Next time I shall buy her something that I WANT and give to her...

Never mind lah, momo is my beloved princess.
I wanted to take bus #7 to Orchard. We waited for it to come cos' earlier on we missed it cos momo was eating, then she doesn't want to take the bus so we took the MRT, again. We alighted at City Hall, took her to eat dessert at 新旺(香港)茶餐厅, we got a table already but momo doesn't want to eat there just before I order the dessert. So we left to Marina Square instead.
We had lunch there, momo didn't eat much but she finished my egg omelette. Walked around Marina Square for a while. Then I realised that momo had wet her diapers, pretty a big soak so I took her to the diapers changing station.
There is one. When I pushed open the door, there is a mother with her son inside. I was shocked cos' she didn't lock the door. She told me to come in but I waited outside. Then she came out and give me a smile, took a look at momo.
I saw a interesting quote on the wall...

Be what you want to be!

Then we walked across to Esplanade. I asked momo if she want to go over to the Merlion to take some photos, she nods her head. As I was walking, momo actually falls asleep in my arms, tsk tsk... So we didn't take any photos there.

I didn't know there is actually a Starbucks outlet below the bridge...

So I crossed over to Fullerton Hotel... And I saw there is a dragon boat race @ Singapore River. I went to the nearest I can get to snap some pics. I couldn't went to the front cos' it was all occupied by the contestants. The whole place outside UOB was seated by the dragon boat racers. I asked momo when she grows up, will she want to be like one of them. She shake her head...

Maybe momo wants to be a rock climber. She loves to climb the tables at home, and the way she scale the tables damn pro man.

I saw another interesting sign at Raffles Place station as I escalate down. I need to went up and then come down again to snap it.
