Been thinking a lot of things today....

Last nite at work I encounter an old lady who was in IMH cos' she hurt her head, went to Alexandra Hospital and there she was referred to IMH. So I was talking to her cos' the doctor couldn't speak Chinese and Cantonese. She wasn't mad or something, just that the doctor at Alexandra Hospital need IMH here to write them a memo about her condition. So I was in the room talking to her, asking her those questions like "Do you know where are you...", "Do you know what is your name...", "Now is day or night....", "This year is which year..." In fact I wasn't require to be there cos' she got her family members with her, they can interpret for her. But since I was requested by the doctor, so I just sit down there. You know what I was touched was that her family members really care for her. They can repeat the words over and over again beside her ears cos' she was a little bit hard hearing, you see. Seeing her, it reminds me will my momo do the same thing when I grow old? Will momo love me too?

I had a little talk with this lady who came with her too... I dunno whether she is her daughter or granddaughter or maybe her daughter-in-law. She was telling me since this morning she hurt her head and she lost quite an amount of blood, she has been talking and talking non-stop. Talking to them non-stop... Her father got high blood pressure and he really got a hard time with her. All they want (this lady and her family) is to let her temporarily stay at the care centre for a few days before fetching her back home. At least her mother or grandmother can have a good rest, be away from her husband who is suffering from high blood.

Well, that is their family problems so I can't really interfere so much. Before I go, I bid farewell to this old lady. I tell her " Ah por, I need to go now... you have a good rest" You know all her family members almost instantaneously was telling me dun call her ah por, call her auntie. I was like.... huh?

"She will ask you if she so old meh, she is still young mah" they told me...

Well, that is a nice experience how they can get along together despite this. Family bonding in very important.

I was thinking of getting a new job... but due to unforseen circumstances I can't leave my current job. Little momo needs to buy diapers and milk powder. Some ppl got to gamble in order to find life, some ppl can't afford to gamble. When you got nothing, you might want to consider to take a risk. At least you got 50-50. But when you got a stable income, you doesn't want to take any risk. What if you lose, how? What is you can't get another job, how? What if.. this... what if... that. You need to consider the risk factor before making a move. Who doesn't want a job with high pay, no stress, air-con environment, annual increment, transport provided, yearly promotion, various benefits... but is there such a job awaiting for you?

The past few years ago when the economy is pretty bad, many ppl got retrenched and got fired. There is a high increase of ppl applying at the NIE or government sector, iron rice bowl, huh? It doesn't seems so... Now even the government sector retrenchment happens, no more permanent scheme, contract scheme is more widely implemented. So no more the iron rice bowl myth.

Many ppl went on to be teachers, applying at NIE. They graduated and become teachers at Primary Schools/Secondary Schools... When they economy become better they quitted. Cos' that wasn't their dream job in the first place. They join the teaching career cos' at the point of time the situation is bad, no other jobs available so they join the teaching career. I'm not saying that it's wrong to job hop or to switch career but many ppl failed to realise that teaching line is not a field that you want to join, you join... you dun want to join yo just throw in the towel. You're teaching our little kids in the classrooms, you're the person who is going to install in them and guide the correct way in life. Whatever you say in classrooms will and is going to have a great effect on them when they grow up. Parents trusted in you so they send their kids to the school to be taught by you, and if you are going to have that "taking shelter only" attitude teaching them in class, how dissappointed will they going to be? Will you want to hire someone who is just play play only in his mind? Or will you want to promote someone who is just waiting for another company to offer him a better position?

I know being investors can earn a great deal of money. Now in the maket there are many companies who is doing helping ppl to invest their CPF monies and whatever investments they got. That need a great deal of responsibilities too. You're using other ppl hard earned money to get your commision. They handed over to you a cheque of say $10000. To you, it's just another piece of paper, but to them it can be 16 hours a day 7 days a week 12 months a year 25 years or working, just to be able to hand over to you a cheque of $10000. You need to be responsible of what you invest for them. When you earn your commision, you are happy and they also happy. When times are good, everyone is happy. But when the investions goes wrong, you cannot just simply disappear. "I can't do anything mah, it's not within my control.." And I just off my phone and went overseas. Afterall they have already sign the documents that they are willingly to invest so naturally investments that can fetch a high returns will have a resonable amount of risk, you can't blame anyone.... Of cos' NO, you can't do that. You need to come out and handle the situation. Not to the extend of forking out your own money and pay the investors back, how to pay them when they invested so much with you? Can be millions of dollars or so... What I mean is you need to meet up with them and assure them, talk to them be it over the phone or in person. You can't pay them back but what you can do it to show them you're not those person who treat them as money tree. Good times or bad times, you are still with them. This will help them a lot, at least they know you're someone whom they can rely on.

Not many ppl can do that when times are bad, I can assure this.

Yesterday I have attended an In-service about "Give them a prickle!" by Bob Farrell. Time is running out for me, the next time I will tell you peeps about the story...

Oh ok... here I'm blogging again....

It was a terrible time for me cos' my laptop got so stupid that it take ages to load just a simple page.. I need to wait like 10 mins?!?! just to load this blogger homepage. Nevertheless, I'm here again...

Let's get to the topic cos' I got not much time here. Not that I'm going to die but I need to get this done fast so that I can go to bed soon. It's getting late now...

Okay, on Tuesday I meet up with dear, as usual on my off day. We went to Vivocity to catch some movies. I did mention that I got this Golden Village Movie Club membership card in my previous post... Well, it's costs only $6.50 per ticket. Dear was saying that we can catch a show since it is only $6.50, why not?

So we went to Vivocity...

I meet her at the MRT station near to her home. It was raining and I didn't bring an umbrella with me when I went out. Yeah, it was raining at my place too but when I was about to leave my house, the rain stopped. But when I reached her place, it starts to rain again. So I got no choice but to take shelter. I sms dear that I was waiting for her at the 7-Eleven, and there she comes. This time I didn't drive cos' it was raining and I quickly rushed to the passenger seat and got it. So dear gonna have to drive this time... Smart, huh?

We had our lunch at Vivocity, then we proceed to GV to buy tickets...

Wanna to try a quiz here?

Which movie you think we watched?

Vantage Point?

Or 10,000 BC?

Or The Water Horse?

I tell you the answer....

If your guess is Vantage Point, you're not wrong....

If your guess is 10,000 BC, you're not really wrong too....

If your guess is The Water Horse, you're also correct....

Cos' we watched all the 3 movies within the same day...

Yeah, both me and dear were mad... She suggested since we haven't been watching any movies for some time, why not we do a movie marathron on Tuesday?

You tell me, can I say no? Why not?

Cos' dear paid for it all. What else can I expect when someone offers to pay for it.

Want to see the proof?

In fact, you dun need to see any proof cos' if you know me, I dun lie... I dun lie to my peeps, to my friends... But since I have already taken the pics of my tickets, so I might as well show to you all.

Dun blink blink....

See? The Water Horse at 1615hrs...

See? Vantage Point at 1910hrs...

See? 10,000 BC at 2135hrs....

Dear did her homework already... She calculated in extreme precision. Anyway, that's her everyday job, in fact. She estimated that we will have some time after each show to go to the toilet or just to grab a bite. True enough, after The Water Horse we got about an hour... We went to shop around. Dear bought a belt at this shop, dunno what is the name now...

Then we head back to GV to catch our 2nd show, Vantage Point. We got about 30 mins after this show... 30 mins is not very long cos' we spend half of it in the toilet. Dun ask what are we doing inside the toilet, cos' you wouldn't want to hear the answer. After that, we went back to GV for our 3rd show, 10,000 BC.

Can you imagine how crazy are we, huh?

I was telling dear that next time we can do more crazier things... like we can book 3 movies at 3 diff GV cinema. So after the first one, we had to rush to the 2nd cinema and catch our 2nd movie. Then after our 2nd movie, we had to rush to the 3rd one to catch our 3rd movie. It will be like... those getai singers rushing for their shows during the 7th month.

For example.... Vivocity then Marina Square then Tiong Bahru...

Well, at least 3 of them are in town area... Not like one at Tampines, one at Yishun and one at Boon Lay. Anyway, dear is a daredevil racer so she won't have any problems. Niak... niak...

Me and dear was shopping at Tiong Barhu some days ago when we went to Tom and Stefaine. Then I saw a really cute doll. I suddenly find it so familiar... As though it reminds me of someone... Someone so close and so familiar in my life...

Oh yes, I remember it....

Little momo!!!

See? The doll looks so much alike of momo...

I wanted to get it for momo but you know this little noti momo, she will be jealous of this doll cos' it is more cuter than her. Momo do carries her bolster walking around the house some times...

Last week, me and dear went to this fish farm at Choa Chu Kang. Dear went there before and she told me there is a fish pond that rear fishes that will bite the skin off ppl's foot. I ever come across such a foot spa in the papers, so I tell dear I want to go and have a try cos' my feet are suffering from fungus for quite long time already now.

See the smoke emitting from the centre? It was not steam or anything hot... just dry ice.

That's my feet dipped in the pond. See the black black cloud? Those are the fishes...

This is what happens when dear dipped her feet into the pond sitting beside me... Half of the fishes deflected to her side...
Not that expensive... Only $10 for the first 30 mins... Subsequently will be $0.30 per min.

So sianz now....
.
Nothing better to do than to blog a bit here....
.
Update about little momo....
.
Last Sat after work when I got home, I was at the doorstep taking off my boots, little momo was in my room playing. When my mum tells her that papa is back, she came running to me... She was standing at the doorstep pointing at me...
.
"Papa... papa..."
.
So I carry her up and kiss her on the cheeks, both cheeks...
.
You know, most of the time when I got home she will let me carry her up and quietly stay still in my arms.
.
I carry her and went to my room to put down my bag... She would want to get down, point to my drawer... where I normally put my mobile phone...
.
She will cry "open.. open... open noh..."
.
I dun bother about her and she will grab my hand and then place my hand at the drawer, implying to me that she wants to see her own video clips. Too many clips I have recorded of her, but I will still keep a few that I think it's interesting. I can't possibly keep all the clips in my memory card, right?
.
The video clips are the "key" to stop her crying and whining...
.
I normally will let her jump a bit first before showing her the clips....
.
I will carry her and put her on my thighs, showing her her clips...
.
After which my mum will take her back to her room to wear her sleeping pants, and if she is hungry, then momo will have her last bottle of milk.
.
Yesterday momo gone crazy....
.
You know what she did?
.
She was playing in my room while me and my mum was watching TV. She opened my closet drawer and took out my handkerchief. Swinging it around then she tug it under her chin and run around. I wanted to snatch it back but she refused to let me have it. Okay, at least she got something to play with for the time being, so I let her... She went outside for a while... I thought I will have some peace but who knows she came in again.
.
She come right up to me, pull my singlet down and stuff the handkerchief right into my singlet. She seems to enjoy doing it and she was laughing so hard. Then she pull my singlet down again and stick her hand inside and retrieve it out. Then while holding my singlet down, she stuff it inside again... Then she stick her hand inside and retrieve it out again... She keep on doing it over and over again. Each time she will laugh so hard. Oh my god....
.
Little momo is so adorable when she is laughing...

Good morning, everyone...
.
Today is 17th March, 0800hrs...
.
I got home at about 0135hrs this morning...
.
Dear send me home before she and her mum go back home.
.
Where they went for holiday? They went to Hong Kong... According to them, there isn't having such a big scene about the flu thing which was reported in the papers here, of schools closed, children staying at home, etc. No one there is wearing any masks on the streets, you can still cough like no one's business without anyone shunning you away.
.
Do anyone still recalls the time in 2003 where this SARS thing was a hit? You just give a slight cough and the person in front of you will stare so hard at you as though you have just killed her parents, or they simply stand up from the MRT seats and stand far far away from you. You cannot give a stranger a tap on the shoulder, not to mention if you were to touch him on the bare skin, he will immediately brush the part you just contacted him umpteen times in front of your face. The more drama ones will even throw away his top into the dustbin or disinfect himself with disinfectant. But you can't blame them for their reaction cos' SARS is deadly. Who wants to be at risk, huh? The most pathetic are those in the nursing field. Once the passengers saw there is any nurse who is about to board the MRT, they will either try to prevent her from boarding or would rather alight the train waiting for the next one to come.
.
Well, that's over now.....
.
Back to my story, I went to dear's house to get her car from her family. I drive to the airport and I arrived there early, at about 10pm. Got nothing to do there so I took the skytrain to Terminal 3. Typical Singaporean mah... Never went there before so die die oso must step in. Maybe the air in there is fresher leh, or the moon over there is rounder.

See? Waiting for the skytrain to arrive...
Dunno what the @$%& are these two things stands for, nevertheless I just snap a pic of it...

The direction sign, can you imagine soon there will be actually a hotel @ Changi Airport? .
.
The whole place doesn't have so much passengers, most probably there isn't much airlines taking off and landing at this new terminal. At the Transit Hall, there are a lot more to shop than at the public hall. I just walk around the public area, see if there is any nice spots to snap pics.

See those cannisters of beer? This is none other than the famous Brewerkz...

Earle Swensen's... Yes, this Earle Swensen's is one of the outlets and we all know of Swensen's. Quite a number of customers it got...

The above 2 pics were taken when I was at the viewing area @ level 4. There are also other shops but I dun think they will like it if I were to snap pics in front of the stores. You know, those branded shops....

Then I took the elevator to the B2...

Down there it got a really big food court, Kopitiam, and NTUC...

Turn left, it's the Kopitiam... Turn right, it's the Mr Bean and Minitoons.
.
.
Talking about minitoons, I bought something there for my little momo to play. Want to know what toy I bought for her? Later I'll reveal...

This is the Kopitiam... Really a big one, got many stalls and the food isn't that cheap compared to the neighbourhood Kopitiam. A bowl of noodles can be selling @$5.50...

Can you imagine this NTUC is so big that I need to take the shot at this angle? Even if I were to stand right in front of it until I reached the opposite wall, I still can't capture it.

I think that's about it, nothing much to snap here anyway so I proceed back to Terminal 1...

While proceeding back to the skytrain, I took some more pics...

Some pics of the passengers @ the transit hall and the ICA checkpoint...

After that I went to Pacific Coffee Company. The reason why I choose this coffee outlet was you can use the internet access for free, provided if you're the customer there. Moreover it was situated at the far end of Terminal 1, just next to United Airlines and Emirates, there isn't much customers too. I mean, who else is so free to come to the airport at this hour, if they're not here to welcome their friends/relatives from abroad. If they're here to send them off, they'll be gone home after that. I take advantage of this win-win situation and I was hogging on the internet for about an hour plus...

I didn't know the time, until I look at my watch... Ops, dear and her family is touching down soon. I finished my drink and I logged off... I know they won't be so soon to come out but it's better to wait for them than to let them wait for me.

Guess which one of these Airlines my dear it taking? UA 895... Yeah, the Pacific Coffee Company is the place where I send them off on the 10th March. So my dear went to Hong Kong on the same day I got divorced. It was a transit flight from Atlanta stopping at Hong Kong.

Their flight supposed to be landing at 2343hrs, but by the time they cleared and collected their luggages, it was about 0030 hrs. They went with only one big luggage and 3 backpacks, they come back with 4 big luggages and many carriers. Normal practice, they will buy liquor at the DFS and local delights froom Hong Kong. Their barang barang are so much that the boot was not able to stuff in. We can only put the big luggages at the boot and the rest gotta hand-held or put at the legs area.

Dear bought for me a pair of jeans and for my family 2 boxes of Hong Kong cookies. But she forgot to get for me Coke bottle!!! I have been collecting Coke bottles...

Will meet up with her to take my jeans, see if she got other gifts for me or not... niak niak...

Okay, time to introduce you peeps one nice snacks. I tried it and I find it very tasty. TIGF potato skins snack chips. I've never seen it or heard of this brand of potato chips, maybe there is but just that I didn't notice it at the selves. From what the owner tells me is you can get it at Carrefour...

Time to reveal the toy I bought for little momo.....

CJ7 toy.... I find it so cute and I guess little momo will like it. It comes with different facial expressions. So now momo = dicky, dicky = momo...

Someone send me a photoshop pic of little momo. All thanks to Princess Pinky.

I won't be angry with her for kopping momo's pic from my blog, but just that why she choose this pic. There are other pics of momo too. No matter what, she is so nice to present momo her first crown.

You gonna say I'm crazy....

You're not going to believe it...

You're not going to believe me when I say this....

You're definitely not going to believe me when I tell you I'm blogging....

You're definitely not going to believe me when I tell you I'm blogging at Changi Airport Terminal 1 Pacific Coffee Company....

What am I doing here middle of the night, or about middle of the night cos' now the time is 2310 hrs.

My dear is coming back from her holiday trip with her mum, her sister and her husband.

Since I got some time while waiting for them to touch down, so I just blogged a bit here.

Earlier on, I took the skytrain to Terminal 3. There I took a couple of pics and I'll upload them when I reached home later on. The whole damn place is nice. I mean, of cos' it looks more newer cos' it IS new. In fact, it just opened in Jan 08 this year. Quiet atmosphere.... Spacious... Clean...

Anyone who is curious about this new Terminal 3 can do your own little expenditure, but dun expect too much from this new terminal.

Okay, for the time being I need to leave you peeps cos' I need to go now... Almost time for me to proceed to the Arrival Hall.

Today marks the day where I regain my freedom.

Today is the day where I no longer needs to be entangled with a "never-ever-will-change" piece of trash.

Today is the day which I can officially be free from all allegations.

Today is the day which I can officially do my own things without having to include her name.

Today is the day when I knows that good begets good, evil begets evil.

Today is the day when I know God answers my prayers.

Today is the day which I know that no matter what you do to harm ppl, eventually it's you that will get it back.

Today is the day where all my friends congrats me for being single once again.

Today is the day when I realised lying and cheating doesn't get you far. It will only makes you sink deeper and deeper.

Today is the day that I really see for myself that a liar will never change her lies... she lie to you that she will never lie, it's still a lie.

Today is the day that justice prevail.

Today is the day where I was officially D..I..V..O..R..C..E..D!!!

Just got home, sian....
.
Seize the chance before I get too tired to blog, I faster upload some pics and do whatever I need to do first.
.
Fast and short one here.... cos' I'm really tired and my eyes are dropping.
.
I was at home during one of my off days and little momo was running around the house finding for things to play. She opened up cabinets and flip through whatever it's inside... Then she will take one of the stuffs inside and walk around the house, or she will tug it under her chin. I mean stuffs like a piece of top or a hanky, she will tug it under her chin and walk around. Stuffs that are bigger/heavier of cos' she will hold it in her hands.
.
Then I also join in the fun... I search for one of her baby's hat and cover her head with it. She doesn't like things put on her head, remember? Naturally she will pull it off and throw it on the floor. But this rare chance she doesn't... Instead she was seen walking into my room with this cute hat on her head.
.
.
Momo wearing the "Big Bird" T shirt.. her hat got 2 round feeables sticking out... So cute...
.
.
Taking momo out for jalan jalan... Since I got time spare for her, so I got her change into this new top my mum bought for her.
.
Dun you think now momo got the feminine taste?
.
Let her wander around the house for a while then me and my mum took her out for window shopping. While she is exploring the house, I snap a few pics of her busying.

Huh? I think i feel something behind the CDs... Something long, something hard, got hiss sound leh...

If I press the button, will my car come and fetch me go kai kai...

So many buttons dunno which one to press leh...

Oh man, if this is the last video you gonna watch of momo, this is the one you will remember the most. See how happy momo is when she is calling for me... The joy and the happiness come from within her, see how wide she opens her mouth...

This is one lucky little girl...

Today I meet up with dear to watch movie... I wasn't working so I send her an SMS asking if she is interested in catching a movie with me, since today is Tuesday and I got the GV Movie Club membership, catching a movie will only costs $6.50 a person. I meet up with her at VivoCity GV. I arrived there first cos' she got something to do on her own. I even got time to play a few rounds of arcade at the E-Zone at Douby Ghaut MRT station. Nevertheless, dear managed to arrive just minutes before the show starts.

While waiting for dear to come, I got nothing better to do so I snapped a few pics of the movies showing on screen currrently. I mean instead of searching on the internet for the poster pics, might as well I take directly with my handphone since I am just sitting in front of them.

Not bad for the outcome, in fact I was zooming from some distance away.

Guess which movie I watched?

This one?

This one?

Or this one?

Last but not least, this one?

Well, the answer is I watched Charlie Wilson's War.

Based on the true story of how Charlie Wilson, an alcoholic womanizer and Texas congressman, persuaded the CIA to train and arm resistance fighters in Afghanistan to fend off the Soviet Union. With the help of rogue CIA agent, Gust Avrakotos, the two men supplied money, training and a team of military experts that turned the ill-equipped Afghan freedom-fighters into a force that brought the Red Army to a stalemate and set the stage for conflicts in the Middle East that still rage to this day.

The whole cinema got only 5 person, can you imagine that? Initially got 7 person but when the show starts for about 20 mins or so, I dunno, this couple actually walked out of the cinema. Well, I gotta admit the heading was quite boring. In fact, I even asked dear if she finds it boring too. But as the show goes on, you will be absorbed in the show. I believe the scenes of children without hands and Soviet helicopters being shot down are real. I mean those are taken from the war site itself and not Hollywood computer effects.

Well, you reap what you sow...
.
.
.
.
When I got home, I was playing with little momo after dinner. She was in my room watching TV with my mum together. God knows what little momo wants cos' she was constantly making a lot of noise, as though asking something from us. I guess she wants to see her video clips of herself in my handphone, so I let her sit on my lap and we watched together. Then she got irritated and got up running around the room.

So I come up with a nasty idea of making her such a fool.

I show her pics of her from birth till now... 10th, 13th, 6th, 17th, 2nd month old.... Each time I show her, I ask her to kiss the photo and then I shoved my face to her and ask her to kiss me too. You know how many pics I took of her, and I only showed her only like 10% of all her pics. Poor momo gotta kiss me so many times and she still gladly plant her kisses happily each time.

Then at 10pm, I was watching CSI Miami in the living room, little momo was running about from room A to room B. Then she come to me and wants to watch CSI with me. So I put her in front of the coffee table and feed her with some water melons.

That was the first time momo watched the whole show with me without running away half-way.

7 more days to regaining my freedom... YAHOOOO....OOOOOO!
THIS IS SPARTAN!!!!!! THAT DAY IS THE DAY YOU WILL DIE IN HELL...!! YES, YOU....!!!
