Today is 30th Dec. 2 more days and it's 2009. What is your New Year Resolution? Today I went to the library again. I'm done with Failing Forward and I loaned another book from John Maxwell, Your Road Map For Success.

Before I returned the previous book back to the library, I want to share some motivation from the book.
There are three things extremely hard:steel, diamond, and to know one's self.
Ben Franklin
Not realising what you want is a problem of knowledge.
Not pursuing what you want is a problem of motivation.
Not achieving what you want is a problem of persistence.
While one person hesitates because he feels inferior,
the other is busy making mistakes and becoming superior.
Henry C. Link
The essence or the best is always at the last. These true stories are especially for those who faced many failures in life, just when you think that you're a complete failure as all the others brand you with, read the following before branding yourself a complete failure.
John Creasey received 743 rejections slips from publishers before one word was ever published - he eventually published 560 books, which sold more than 60 million copies.
Eddy Arcaro lost 250 consecutive races before he won his first.
Albert Einstein, Edgar Allan Poe, and John Shelley were all expelled from school for being mentally slow.
So where do you stand if NOW you compare yourself with them?
1. Realize there is one major difference between average people and achieving people.
2. Learn a new definition of failure.
3 .Remove the "you" from failure.
4. Take action and reduce your fear.
5. Change your response to failure by accepting responsibility.
6. Don't let the failure from outside get inside you.
7. Say goodbye to yesterday.
8. Change yourself, and your world changes.
9. Get over yourself and start giving yourself.
10. Find the benefit in every bad experience.
11. If at first you do succeed, try something harder.
12. Learn from a bad experience and make it a good experience.
13. Work on the weakness that weakens you.
14. Understand there's not much difference between failure and success.
15. Get up, get over it, get going.

Today is Christmas Day... Didn't go out, stay at home.
Today momo slept till about 12 pm then she wakes up. She was walking around the house with her hair messy and her pants so lowly cut.... haha....
Now she is a tall lass.
After lunch, I took her to Jurong Point, the newly built extension one.... It was a challenge for me cos' there are so many ppl there and momo isn't easy to handle single-handedly... She tried out some clothes at Fox Baby, went to Kiddy Palace to play with the soft toys, went to Starbucks, went to Gramaphone...
Maybe next time, if the crowd subsides, I will take her to New York New York for cakes.
Today while momo is sleeping like a baby I was reading Failing Forward by John Maxwell. I think I can't share with you whatever I read cos' every single page is worth pondering. Every page there is something that worth reading and digesting.
The whole book can be described in just 4 words.... You go read it.
Nevertheless I just share some that I bookmarked.
The process of exiting the failure freeway:
Chapter 1. I walked down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost. I am hopeless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out.
Chapter 2. I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I didn't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place, but it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out.
Chapter 3. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. I still fall in. It's a habit. My eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately.
Chapter 4. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it.
Chapter 5. I walk down another street.

I shall share with you a really meaningful story I come across while reading this book... It's a African parable"

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows that it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows that it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle: When the sun comes up you had better be running.

There are more than just a few meaningful verses and stories. Like we always used to hear, a picture tells a thousand words...

A story will change people lives.

Steps to Success

....Successful Entrepreneur
..................Looks like a Fool
..........Afraid of Being a Fool

Many of life's failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success when they give up.
Thomas Edison
Failure isn't so bad if it doesn't attack the heart.
Success is all right if it doesn't go to the head.
Grantland Rice
Forget to upload this 2 pages I want to share with you... This was actually taken right from the book, Who Cry When You Die. I mean instead of typing it word by word, I just snap a pic of it and post it here.

Robin Sharma very first self-published book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferarri. He send 100 copies of it to 100 CEOs and only one CEO acknowledged it. Out of 100 CEOs only one CEO has the courtesy of returning his favour.

And this CEO, his name is Mark Hughes.

Just finished reading the book, Discover Your Destiny, by Robin Sharma... I would like to share with you one story from this book.

There is this mountain climber who reached the summit of the peak he was scaling at midday. The challenge then became getting back down, to a place of safety before the sun had set. As he descended, he noticed that sun getting lower and lower. He quickened his pace but, as the hours slipped away, the light faded and the sun sank lower on the horizon. He began to grow frightened and many fears began to surface. He felt that if he did not get to the bottom of the mountain, he would be caught midway and be placed in an extremely dangerous position, perhaps even falling to his death.

Finally, the sun set and the climber found himself in utter darkness. Desperate, he fumbled to find something he could hold to, eventually clinging to a branch that grew from a crevice in the stone face of the mountain. The climber spent the night hanging on to that branch, frozen with fear, believing that if he let go of it, he would fall to his death on the rocks below. The night was a nightmare for him - pure terror.

But when the first ray of the morning cast light once again, he began to laugh. He could not believe what he saw. His fear was only an illusion. Only six inches below him rested a ledge. In the darkness, he could not see it. But in the light, he realized that all he had to do was to go six inches lower and he could have spent the entire night in safety and relative comfort. His fear were unfounded. His terror had no basis in reality. And fears, I have learned, are like that. They keep us small, shackled; they spoil our lives. And yet every single one of the fears that limit us is truly only six inches deep.

Do not let the fears own you. Do not let them spoil your life.

"Don't become a victim of yourself. Forget about the thief waiting in the alley; what about the thief in your mind?"
Jim Rohn
Currently I was reading this another wonderful book by Robin Sharma, Discover Your Destiny with the Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. I come across some really inspiriting verse..
The greatest treasures are the treasures that lie within.
There is but one failure in life and that is failure to try.
The past is a grave and it makes no sense to spend your life living in a grave. Every ending represents a new beginning. Or to put it another way, you cannot move forward in life if you're stuck looking in the rearview mirror.
More quotes by Jim Rohn
One of the best places to start to turn your life around is by doing whatever appears on your mental "I should" list.
Indecision is the thief of opportunity.
Every life form seems to strive to its maximum except human beings. How tall will a tree grow?
As tall as it possibly can. Human beings, on the other hand, have been given the dignity of choice.
You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?
You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.
Decision making can sometimes seem like inner civil war.
I used to say, "I sure hope things will change." Then I learned that the only way things are going to change for me is when I change.
Don't say, "If I could, I would." Say, "If I can, I will."
It doesn't matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off! You cannot make progress without making decisions.
We generally change ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation.
If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree.

Last week I loaned this book written by Robin Sharma from Jurong library, Who Will Cry When You Die. The same author who wrote the book I was reading the last time, The Monk Who Sold His Ferarri.

I just share with you some of the inspirations I obtained:

On your deathbed, in the twilight of your life, it will not be all the risks you took that you will regret the most. Rather, what will fill your heart with the greatest amount of regret and sadness will be those risks that you did not take, all the opportunities you did not seize, and all those fears you did not face. Remember that on the other side fear lies freedom. And stay focused on the timeless success principle that says:"Life is nothing more than a game of numbers - the more risks you take, the more rewards you will receive."

To get more from life, you need to be more in life.

"When my son was growing up, he constantly asked me to give him piggyrides. Though I knew how much he loved them I was always too busy to play with him. I had reports to read or meetings to attend or calls to make. Now that he has grown up and left our home, I have realized one thing: I would give anything in the world to give that little boy a piggyback ride."

The heights by great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight
But they, while their companions slept
Were toiling upward in the night

"It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult"

On Father's Day, my son, Colby, brought home a handmade card from school. On the front of it was his small handprint and inside the card, above a little photograph of my child, were these words:
Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small and always leave my fingerprints on furnitures and walls.
But every day I'm growing - I'll be grown up someday and all those tiny handprints will surely fade away.
So here's a final handprint, just so that you can recall exactly how my fingers looked, when I was very small.

This I think it's the best story in this book, that's why I leave it to the last...

Mahatma Gandhi was travelling across India by train. As he left the car he had been riding in, one of his shoes fell to a place on the tracks well beyond his reach. Rather than worrying about getting it back, he did something that startled his travelling companions. He removed his other shoe and threw it to where the first one rested. When asked why he did this, Gandhi smiled and replied:"Now the poor soul who finds the first one will have a pair that he can wear."

Okay, let's face the tough fact. Now the world is facing the global crisis. Everywhere is retrenching ppl. Currently US is facing the real tough times, companies are seeking the US Government to bail out. Can you imagine even GE Motors is effected, the company that is contributing to the 1/3 of the automobiles economy.

Now you won't feel the pinch, the standard flow is here in Asia, we will only feel the lash 6 months after US had felt it. Every economist will know that...

Our CEO of Herbalife International is now reaching out to the world to provide a solution to this economical crisis. "Tough times, Proven Solution". We are not begging ppl to join us or to take advantage of the crisis to recruit more distributors. Not a form of advertising gimmicks, NO!

The star of Herbalife is not me, not our CEO, or any of us. The star of Herbalife is the products. With or without any of us, Herbalife is still going to the US$5 billion. Just last year Herbalife operates in 65 countries. Now in Nov, we operates in 70 countries already. In June next year our Extravaganza to Korea will not postponed, in 2010 our 30th Anniversary to Atlantis Extravaganza will still commenced. Not because we are arrogant or what, cos' Herblalife is the proven solution! It will not give you a get-rich scheme or easy-way-out plan, we still need to work hard. We doesn't sit at home and collect money from our downlines. We will still be doing the leads since the past 28 years, since Mark Hughes days; Use the products, Wear the button, Talk to people.

Give yourself an option for your family, for your children and most importantly, for yourself.

Now at this times. you will either faced retrenchment, you watch someone get retrenched or you're retrenching someone.

Mark these words "You can earn what you are worth"

Going to be end of Nov soon...

I got home and this is what I saw on the floor... nicely placed in a semi-circle position. Which little girl did that?

Few days ago, I brought momo the swimming at the public pool. I thought she would like to go swimming cos' she was always playing with water at the bathroom. I even bought a swimming costume for her, a green coloured one with some patterns from Giant. Wanna see how momo looks like in her green swimming costume? I really want to laugh my head off when I took her pic. She looks so..... never mind.
Guess what, she just simply refused to get go of me. She keep on hugging me when I went into the shallow pool. The other time I went into the deep pool for adults, she hugged me tightly. I thought maybe she was scared of the depth but this time the water was only like... it's a baby pool!!! All the other children were screaming and playing so happily but momo was crying. Ever since I took her for a shower until I decided to leave the pool, she was crying. I think maybe she still can't get used to it, maybe I'll try again some other time when she is a few months older. This girl need to be "polished".
It reminds me of one quote by Robbin Sharma when I listened to his inspirational tape.
He says: "When we come to this world, we cries while everyone around us rejoiced. When we left this world, how many people will cry while we rejoiced"

This post is to tribute to them for their selfless sharing for my focus group training.

Mentor Yvonne Low

Trainer Pauline Yuen

Who is this then? She is not responsible for my progress in Herbalife.

She is my younger "sister" in Herbalife. You see, that is the wonderful encounter in this business. You can from nowhere rendezvous with your long lost sister... Haha! I beginning to like this business more and more. We both shared the same surname. XXXX Tham and Tham XXXX. She comes all the way from Malaysia to Singapore to attend today's training. The first time we first saw each other was in July at the Bangkok Extravaganza. I thought we only can meet again in next year Korea Extravaganza, but who knows today we see each other. So of cos mai du liao, fast hand fast leg take photo together mah...

I Love Herbalife!!!!
Just come back home from a wonderful training, 2 special guest speakers all the way from Philippines. Husband and wife tag team... The wife started this business and the husband was very skeptical about this business. He doesn't want to do this business and his wife had to do it secretly. Not until 6 months later when she has accumulated 1 million peso, that was about SGD$30,000, he then decided to join his wife into the business. You may think that SGD$30,000 is not a big sum of money, but 1 million peso in the Philippines is a lot of money. Try and asked any of your Filipino friends around, how much a house can cost to buy.

Well, let's blog a bit about momo first. I think she hasn't been appearing here for a month now or so. Last week I took her to a gathering some where in the east side of Singapore. She is considered quite a good girl there, cos' she didn't break any things there.... But she still can't help it when it comes to her itchy hands. So far so good, she still eats her food.

Curious momo looking around the house, trying to find something to play with.

The one and only momo sitting on the floor digging her ears.

It takes a lot of courage to bring momo to a place so far away from home. The next time I think I can bring her to Changi Airport for ice cream. I got to learn that dun run away from your fears, run towards them. Face your fears.

The bigger the problem, the bigger the check. The people with no problem are the people with no check.

The most risk a person can take is not by not taking any risks.

Back to my main point of this post....

This couple were staying at this small house. They have to take up a loan from the Government for 25 years to repay this small house.

Can you imagine how small is this house? You step in and that's it. What you see is how big the house is. The bed, the sofa, the TV.... all lies in front of you.

Just one year with Herbalife, they managed to re-pay back all the money and not only that, they can buy a new house.

This is how the living room looks like.

This is how the house looks like, a new car some more....

Check it out at this article. It wasn't invented by any of us. This is a publication by one of the US Health authority.

This is something that will benefits me from the event. Sounds so meaningful....

Can it get more logical than that?

I mean, what is more can you learn? In this company, you can get rich. Rich in mind, rich in wealth, rich in health.

Lately I developed the habit of reading books, not just books it's inspirational books. Last Fri I went to Jurong East library to borrow this book wrote by Robin Sharma, The Monk Who Sold His Ferarri. Can you imagine it sold 20 million copies? He self published it, his mom edited it, his dad sold the books. Maybe you may wonder how did a person managed to sell 20 million copies? Well, one person at a time. This is how we build our business, one person at a time.

"It is not what happens that determines the major part of your future. What happens, happens to us all. It is what you do about what happens that counts." -- Jim Rohn

"Some people take better care of their pets than they do themselves. Their animals can run like the wind and they can barely make it up a flight of stairs." Jim Rohn

Now the sky is getting dark... So I supposed soon it's going to rain. To most people, at this hour they should be at work. I mean now the time is 9am. Even if you're not at work, you would most likely to be still in bed. Maybe it's your off day, or your rest day, or maybe who knows....

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Today is Friday and I got some time for myself. Blog a bit here... Today is my last day for my assignment... Even though it's a temp job, but I requested if there is a post for a full time one. I mean, the staffs there think I'm pretty good at my work, and I know the work there. At least they dun need to re-train a new staff again. Anyway, I went home and hope to hear from them.
Meet Faisal Solichin from all the way from Indonesia, Surabaya, the Executive President Team member. To us, he is one diamond President member.

In Bahasa Indonesia... Anyone knows what is written there?

This theory is not inverted by him, by me or by anyone... This is a study done by the experts. I just type it out here, just for the sake not to strain your eyes... For every 60 years old out of the top 5% of the every 100 people; 1 will be rich, 4 will be financially independent, 5 will still be working, 12 will be broke, 29 will be dead, and 49 will still dependent on social security and charity... Where do you want to end up?

His talk is really so inspiring... He is not a someone who is out to impress you, or to sweet-talk you. He is here to just share with all of us his life, how he transformed his life, how he change his life. Life experiences....

This is the house he used to stay in after he was bankrupted. It was leaking whenever it rains.

And this is the transformation after Herbalife. See the great difference?

This is just one of his 3 houses in Indonesia.

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of broken dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk a...
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Til then I'll walk alone
Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ahhh
Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ahhh
I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line of the edge
And where I walk alone
Read between the lines what's
Fucked up and every things all right
Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive
And I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk a...
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Til then I'll walk alone
Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ahhh
Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ah-Ah Ahhh
I walk this empty street
On the Blvd. of broken dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk a..
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Til then I'll walk alone!

Yesterday went for the amazing training from the Exective President Team member, all the way from Indonesia to here to give us his wonderful speech. He was once a bankrupt when there is a crisis in Indonesia 10 years ago. Anyone still remember 10 years ago there is this crisis going on; people burned down the stores, robbing other shops, etc? Yes, at that point of time he as doing business and the USD$ shoot up so much that he had to sell 8 of his 9 cars to pay off his debts, sell off his house to settle for the shipment of goods that is coming from US. He got no other choice but to declare bankrupt. He found the opportunity in Herbalife and he began to work very hard. He organisation grew from just 3 person he recruited; one was his cousin, one was his neighbour, and one was his son's doctor. At that point of time, his wife gave birth and he got no money to pay for the hospital bills.

Slowly his business grew...

Just when you thought his spring was coming, he is leading a better life, he no longer has to suffer again... Another blow came, the tsunami. Remember he is from Indonesia? Yeah, 92 of his downline died. Can you imagine 92 of them died? What will going to happen if now 92 employees of your company at the same time resigned?!?!

He was telling us one story... The donkey story.

One donkey fell into a big hole. It was crying so loudly. His master loved it very much and can't bear to see it suffering, so he decided to bury it alive. He was pouring sand into the hole, keep on pouring and pouring. The donkey, you know, once the sand fall on its back, he just shake it away and step on the sand. Soon the sand get more and more, and the donkey was able to get out of the hole.

In this business, there will be many people who will pour sand on you. Just shake it off your back and take another step forward.

Guess where am I now blogging? I'm actually at the Changi Airport Terminal 1 Pacific Coffee Company. Ha! I was supposed to help the CEO to pick up his "lost" bag that he forgot to take when he touched down in Singapore. You wanna know what kind of job I'm doing? Well, my job is pretty simple, it's so simple. My job... is to receive students from the airport and send them to their accommodations. Simple? So for the past few days, I was like going to the airport every single day. Terminal 1, Terminal 2... so far not yet been to Terminal 3. I mean, I have been to Terminal 3 before, what I mean is I so far have not picked up any students arriving at Terminal 3 yet. There is will be one on Fri... You wanna know which school I'm working for? I'm not going to tell you now... Wait till my contract is finished then I'll tell you. You know.... yeah, you know why...

Initially I didn't really like this job. It doesn't pay well for me. I need to drive here and there, wait for them at the airport for like for 1 hour.... The journey from my home to the school is not near oso. I need to do office admin stuffs when there is no pick up for me. So I feel like I'm underpaid....

But I was listening to some personal development from Herbalife when I was on the way to work and oso on the way when I was driving to the airport. It taught how to be positive. Look at things at the positive side, and everything will be "No Problem!!!" Well, at least I got the chance to drive a Mercs. Yeah, the vehicle I'm driving is a Mercs, those 8 seater one. Who got the chance to drive a Mercs around the whole of Singapore, doesn't need to worry about the gas, and can even get paid for doing that? Now dear is no more sitting beside me when I'm driving so I need to learn how to read the road signs and recognise the surroundings. The staffs there are good to me, I got a laptop to use and no one bothers me much. I mean, what else more do you ask for? They trusted me as to give me all the passwords to their access, whether is the door or their Outlook Express. Just last weekend I was required to work whereas everyone is not in the office. I was told to pick up these and these students, and I got total freedom myself. I was enjoying myself alone at the office, on the air-con and watch DVD at the laptop. Of cos' I didn't delay the pick-up. I did my job and everything went smoothly. I still do my basic job, of cos.

My assisgnment will ends at the end of this month. Then I will be doing Herbalife again. In fact, I never give up the business. This business will give me financial freedom, I know it. Just that I need to work very hard. This morning, momo is not been a good girl. She was sleeping in my bed and at 4:30am, she woke up crying. I have to bring her downstairs to the playground. The best part was she only went to bed at 2am. So you can see how many hours I only get to sleep. But that is not a problem cos' later when I got home, I am going to spank her butt. Btw, now momo is getting more and more smart. She can even talk back to you. You sometimes can't bluff her through.

I need to go now cos' I can't be out too long. I got things to do at my office. So see ya....

Thursday, October 16, 2008

I'll be starting work tomorrow... Or rather in 7 hours' time... I can't sleep cos' i took Herbalife Herbal Tea.... now i dun even yawn... Ha!

So that means for the time being I won't be able to do Herbalife.... Nah, no... I still will be doing that. It's a dreams come true company, of cos' I'll be doing it. I'll be doing it for as long as I could. This is the last company that I'll be quitting. You can have the wildest dreams cos' the wildest dream can come true in Herbalife, so long you be consistant, free yourself from all the negatives. There will be alot of negative people around you, trying to get you off the business. They will be telling you "give it up", "it's time to do a big man's job", "when then you will grow sensible enough", "this is not for you, wake up", "how can you possibly do it when you can't talk", etc....

Well, Albert Einstein could only talk when he was 10 years old. At that point of time before 10, everyone thought he was dumb.

Well, Beethoven was deaf.

BTW, do you know that Herbalife had create the most number of millionaires in this MLM, direct sales, weight lose companies, or whatever you called it....

Check it out, this where we will be going in 2010 for our Herbalife 30th Anniversary at Altantis, Bahamas. No international flights will be able to reach there, you need to take a international flight to LA, then you need to take a private jet to Altantis. Can you imagine if this private jet bears the name of...... No, no.. not some XXX airlines, or YYY airways.... It's Herbalife own private jet. I think it's simply unbelievable, man. Inside the jet, all the stewards and stewardess wear Herbalife's accessories, they serves Herbalife shakes, we watch Herbalife clips... even the toilet covers got the word "Herbalife". Oh yes, the hand soaps, the towels....

Next I'm going to share with you this amazing clip... It's one of our Chairman's Club member, Doran Andry, and he is only 30 yrs old when he turned billionaire in Herbalife. See how his house looks like, his lifestyle, his family, his cars, his office, his time...

I know what you're thinking right now... "Oh, that can't be happening to me... it's too far away a dream.... I wouldn't have such good luck.... he is just being lucky....." All these are excuses, plain excuses.

Well, just sit back and listen to me for a few minutes. Think this way, you may not be so hardworking, you are not so good in talking, you're not so "lucky", maybe you take more years to get to "this" level.... Let's say you only can accomplish just 10% of what he is achieving, but that 10% is definitely better than what you're having now!!! You may take 20 years to get to that 10%, but that 20 years you spent will get you much more further than what you will get in your present situation!!!!

Put it this way, he took 10 years to earn a monthly of USD$200,000, ok, for example. You look yourself in the mirror... You're 2 times as ugly as him, you're 2 times as lazy as him.... Congratulations!!!You will be earning a monthly of USD$50,000!!! See? Is that amount good enough for you?

Tuesday, October 07, 2008

Finally... momo is going to show her pretty face here... Guess what, yesterday I took momo for a dip at the pool. I guess she would like to go for a swim cos' she is always playing with water at home. Whenever she is bathing, she will scoop the water up and splash on the floor. Or she will play with the water dispenser. She puts a cup underneath and press the catch... Water flows out.. then she will pretend to drink it and "refills" it again. The best is she will pour the water into the sugar container.

So since dear is able to make it, so I SMS her that if I can drop by to take momo to the pool. You know, the pool over there is like no one else is using. So I pack her bag, took some diapers, milk powder, a set of clothes for her to change, etc. Momo still doesn't know where we are heading to when we left home... I told her that we are going kai-kai.

We are early when we reached XXXXXXXXX. I'm not going to tell you where dear is staying cos' it's confidential. Niak niak...

Anyway, the sky was pretty dark that time so I was thinking what if the sky begins to rain? Then what is the point of coming all the way there. Dear sms me that she is on the way back home... I told her that even if it rains, it's still ok. She got a bathtub at home too. Momo can swim in there too.

30 mins later, dear appeared from the lift. Momo is sleeping in my arms. What a good timing... Well, I thought the worse had yet to come, so I bring momo into her room and want to put her on the bed. Just at the instant, momo wake up. She found herself in a totally unfamiliar environment, her eyes are so wide and keep looking around. She doesn't want to lie in the bed and stretched out her arms to me.

So I carried her around the house.

I was thinking "Well, today must be a wasted trip... All the way to here and momo didn't go for a swim". Momo was clinching to me so tight, and refused to come down.

Dear told me to just bring momo to the pool side. Maybe when she sees the pool, she will want to come down. So I took my things and bring her down. Dear was sleeping in her room, she doesn't want to join us. No problem, it's gonna be me and momo playing with water all by ourselves!!
While momo is quietly by herself and didn't cry, I quickly get myself a drink from the kitchen. When I come out, I was momo sitting on the chair. Earlier on, I just placed it there and told her to sit.

Momo loves to sit at this bamboo chair. Maybe I should get one for her at home so that she can sit still eating her rice.

Okay, I took momo downstairs. While in the changing room, momo suddenly said she wants to drink milk. I have to feed her milk, get her changed into her swimming attire. I didn't get a swimming costume for her, I thought she could just wear her T-shirt and shorts. Afterall, no one here will care if you wear your swimming suit or your birthday suit. I deflates the arm band for her to slip into later on in the pool, while she lie down on the bench sipping from her milk bottle.

This is how momo looks like before she goes into the pool. Why that expression on her face?

I took lots of pics for momo, but I just upload a few here. Maybe the weather is too cold or momo is afraid of the water so deep. She doesn't want to get into the pool. I had to catch her, carried her in my arms and slowly went into the deeper side. She was shouting for her life when the water reached her chest level. I keep on assuring her that papa is here, papa is here...

Since she doesn't want to go into the pool, I let her play with the water at the pool side. In fact, I think she enjoys herself more. I swim on my own and i let her be on her own.

Huh? Who is the lost little girl sitting at the edge? Maybe she was thinking if she should....

Okay, she done it... She wash her feet in the pool.

See how happy is she? In fact, she was pushing me back into the pool when I wanted to get out from the water.

Want to go for jacuzzi?

Anyone wants to guess what momo is doing earlier on before I snap this pic? I saw her shivering for an instant and then her shorts, water was dripping. I mean momo was on the land for some time already, her clothes shouldn't be dripping with water till then.

We were at the pool since, like 4:30pm and the time was already 6 pm when I think it's time for momo to get changed to go back. I had to catch her again and bring her into the shower. She needs to take a shower, together with me. I was carrying her in my arms and we took a shower, at the same time, then get her dry up and get dressed.

We went upstairs and dear was still sleeping, so I let her. Me and momo was watching TV at the living room. We watched Kids' Central. Dunno what cartoon is that. Got dinosaurs... Then at 6pm, we watched Lover In Paris. I was eating Korean noodles while momo is playing with her pig from Korea.

Do you find this pig familiar?

My Lovely Samsoon? Nae Ireumeun Kim Sam-Soon? 내 이름은 김삼순

I tell you momo was like keep on hugging it. She will toss it on the floor and then went to pick it up again, kiss it and then carry it in her arms. I teach her to call it "momo pig". If you watched My Lovely Samsoon, then you probably will know the relationship between momo and this pig. Shall I get one for momo? Just a small one will do...

Oh no, this is what happen when momo watched too much WWE...

No lah papa, we are good friends... See we sit sit together watch TV...

Momo pig is tired now... momo is tired oso... Momo is so enjoy when she was there. Well, she was still the same, like to touch things on the coffee table.

So I guess in future I should be able to bring momo out more often. At least she can behave herself when she is outside.

Mark Hughes - Una increible historia

You gotta watch this clip, after watching it then you will know why Herbalife is the No 1 weight lose product in the entire world. What makes Mark Hughes so determined to start this Herbalife company.

I want each and everyone of you out there to watch this part...8:45.
Guess what? The F1 Had ended and many roads are cleared. If I'm still in the stupid CISCO, for sure I'll be played (backside) again, one more time. No OFF days, make you work like a dog and still treat you like a dog.

Come In Sure Come Out= CISCO

Working very hard for my Herbalife business. Distribute flyers every time I can make it. Bring momo along oso. Momo is quite good nowadays. At home she will make a lot of noise, but once I bring her out to distribute flyers, she doesn't make any noise. I will tell you in her ear that papa need to work and she be a good girl, ok? If momo is hungry, tell papa "Nan Nan.." and papa will go home to feed you. If momo is tired, just close your eyes and rest into papa's chest.

And she can understand....

Currently I got myself 5 distributors and other retail customers oso, and more to come. Need to work hard. tsk tsk...

In Herbalife, anything is possible.... if.... you.... just.... keep....going.

Consistancy is the key.

Now there is a lot of rumours flying in the air about the china milk powder. I was at one of the food court ordering dessert. I overheard an auntie ordering. She was asked by the dessert lady if she wants coconut milk or fresh milk for her black glutinous rice.

The auntie replied saying "the fresh milk, is it from China?"

The dessert lady said "Not from china, from New Zealand lah... Singapore where got milk from China!"

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....

Lately was like I got no time to take pics for momo. I guess many of you out there are wondering how is she, right? Well, not to worry, momo is fine. She is now about 10kg, all thanks to the product Herbalife!!! She has gained a 0.5kg. Just mixed it in her milk and let her drink it, she got the 100% nutrition she needs for the day. 40% carbo, 30% fats, 30% protein. For sure you can trust Herbalife products. Afterall, which company got more than 30 doctors, 10 PhDs, a top 7 doctors from US who is funded unlimited by the US Government for research in human nutrition, obesity and cancer, and last but not least a 1998 Nobel Laureate.

And the best of all, we even got the former President of Walt Disney International to be our CEO, Michael O Johnson. I didn't know that this man got such influential in US. Can you imagine he can just pick up the phone and calls any of the senators, and meet for breakfast, lunch or even for a coffee session? I was like "Wow....Is he real or what? Dun even need to make an appointment, that is the best thing.

You think your company's CEO can be able to fix an appointment with.... Tony Tan or Sami Velu, as and when?

Get ready for the true, nothing but the truth. On 16th Dec 2004, Herbalife is listed in NYSE. God damn, you know in order to be listed in there, Herbalife gotta be really transparent. In 2004, it was only about USD$13, now it has rose to USD$38...

Check it out this site. All of us know what is WWE, right? It got listed too, oh yeah, in 25 Oct 2000. Their stocks is USD$14... I gotta make a disclaimer here. I'm not trying to criticise WWE but I just want to make a point to you that if WWE, so famous on TV, can get itself worth USD$14, then how about a company which is trading USD$38? You got my point?

Ok.... next time round I shall blog about momo. She is now getting more and more smarter. Now she is hungry, she will climb to grab her milk bottle, the milk container and the Herbalife spoon and put it in front of me. She even can choose where she wants to drink her milk. On my bed, at the living room couch or even the master bedroom.

Oh my....

Guess what is the similarity between momo and David Beckham?

The both take Herbalife products!!! Oh yes, they both drink our shake every single day for good nutrition. There are many people out there on the streets who don David Beckham jersey T-shirt, some even spotted with his beckham hairdo. You know that hairdo that look something like a rooster head, some even dye that particular patch of hair golden coloured. Now how about you got the chance to take the same shake as David Beckham? You can go around and show to your friends, your neighbours, and some of your negative people that "I'm drinking what David Beckham drinks, Ha!" And it's not expensive at all. It won't cost you a 20 bucks, it only cost you a 3 bucks. A Starbucks Frappucino cost more than that....

Oh my god!! My blog is going to reach 1000 visitors.... 30 more to go, man.

You're not going to believe it but I'm going to tell you anyway. Last Saturday I just attended one of the best training, a special speaker all the way from Indonesia. Someone who can lost 28kg..... in just 4.5 months. No bluff!!!

I'm not going to post what she taught us here. You never know which way or that way, someone who may be reading this. Right after the training, I went home and applied what I have learnt that very night. I went to blocks after blocks to distribute flyers, carrying momo in my arms.

It's now or never. Tomorrow never comes. No excuse is a good excuse.

Momo has been a good girl, before I went off I whisper in her ears that papa need to work so momo don't cry as she watch how papa works. She didn't cry... She slept in my arms.

I want you to watch this clip at the end... 3:10...

"Listen Mary, get a grip, ok? Now I lost weight and you're going to lose weight and I don't care what your big fat negative husband tells you, get back into the kitchen, drink those shakes and take those tablets and we are going to lose weight. Now get in there, let's go!!"

Sunday, August 31, 2008

Today I attended my very first home party. The food is great, I eat and eat, so I need to lose weight again. Ha! With Herbalife products, I never need to worry about any extra kgs. Share some of the wonderful partners' stories to the guests. Of cos', the feeling is great. My very first HP leh, you bet.

Actually the main point is not about the sharing part. I mean of cos' the sharing of stories is great. Without stories, we wouldn't the highest paid story-tellers. Which story-tellers can earn a few thousands dollars a month by just sharing?

I was stting down with them and one of the partners was telling us about her younger son's medical condition. How her son got admitted into hospital, after hospital. It makes me think of momo. It was really God blessed that momo is still able to run around at home. It makes me pondered that what will happen if one day momo needs medical attention. Will I be able to provide for her the medical fees? Momo only admitted to KKH once. It was lucky that I can use my Medisave for her fees. What if she was referrred to a private hospital? What is her medical fees is not able to be subsidise with Medisave? What if.... What if..... Too many "what if" comes to my mind.

Is that I'm too selfish to leave momo at home while I went outside? How will it be wonderful if I can spend most of my time with momo? Able to take her to school, able to bring her down to the playground, able to tuck her to bed every nite, able to take her for holidays once a year, able to watch her grow day by day....

Every parents want the best for their child. I want the best for momo, I want her to live in comfort, got lots of toys to play with, got new clothes to wear, etc.

Now momo is 26 months old. I dun have much time left. Soon she will be attending pre-school.

That is why I choose to work from home. My mum was saying momo is really pitiful cos' she doesn't have a mother to give her the love she needs. I have to do both jobs. I need to work hard. I have to build my business strong, it is not for myself but for my family. Everyone will grow old one day, I'm not exception. There are many debts that I need to pay off, even I got no clues of where does the money goes. One mistake it is all it takes. But life still needs to go on. Like what my mentor told me what passed is passed, must learn to put the past behind me, work hard for the future.

Let our founder inspire you with the big picture of Herbalife.

In February 1980, Mark Hughes began selling the original Herbalife weight loss product from the trunk of his car. By 1982, Herbalife had reached $2,000,000 in sales and opened a distributorship in Canada, its first outside of the United States. In 1986 Herbalife became a publicly traded company via NASDAQ. Independent distributors' personal vehicles could be seen on the street, decorated by decals bearing the mysterious slogan "Lose weight now, ask me how!". In 1994 Mark Hughes started the Herbalife Family Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping children. The organization receives donations from Herbalife itself as well as individuals within and outside the company. The Herbalife Family Foundation has donated more than $6.5 million to children's causes worldwide. In 1996 Herbalife reached $1,000,000,000 in annual sales.

"I had this incredible dream... when I wanted to start the Herbalife company... that we could help people lose weight... and we could help them do it safely !"

"Cos' Herbalife is now through our way of distributing the products it is the number one weight loss product in the entire world"

"But let me tell you what the button does for you more than anything else. Yes it's gonna get you customers..... But I'll tell you the biggest thing this button does for you personally. As an independent distributor when you put this button on, you say to everybody in the world including your family, your friends, your relatives and anybody else that might make fun of you, you say "I don't care what you think of me I'm proud to be an Herbalife distributor and I don't care what anybody says about it....."

"Hey listen you're not that great at it now don't worry about it. Just do the best you possibly can. Tomorrow morning you get up out of bed do a little bit better than that. The next day after that, do a little bit better than that."

Little momo got hurt in an accident few days ago...

She was climbing on top of the massage chair and jumping on it. She climbed higher and she for dunno what reason she fell from the chair. Her head hit the floor and she was crying so loud... Keep on crying and crying... My mum had already scolded her, beat her with a cane, smack her, etc before not to climb but she apparently doesn't listen. Many times we saw her climbing so dangerously dangling her half body over the head-rest. When I catch her down, she will scream and protest. So some times it's good for her to learn the hard way.

So when her head hit the floor, a bum protrude out from the part above her eye, just at the eyebrow area. My mum pressed it and the swell disappeared soon. I was coming home that nite and I saw little momo's right eye was unable to open. You can imagine how she looks like if you ever watched a boxing match... Yeah, that was how she looks like. I did take pics of her and I showed her whenever she was climbing the massage chair again.

Now after a few days, her right eye is getting better. Now her right eye is as wide as the other one, but just that the clotted blood has flowed to her eyelids and she looks like a panda now.

Want to see how she looks like? No....no.....no...... i won't post the pics here cos' momo will be angry with me for doing that. You dun think that she doesn't know what's happening around her. My dad was, that time, making fun of her and she got angry and start to throw the album on the floor. You cannot oppose her. When she is in goood mood, she is so lovable. Her giggles, her laughter, her actions can fill up the whole house. But when she is in bad mood.... you won't like her when she is angry.

Today is Wednesday, it's my off day...

I'll be very busy today cos' I got so many stuffs to do. I need to cut my hair, go down to Herbalife office at Takashimaya, to buy ink cartridge, to collect my divorced cert, to print my flyers, to meet my customers. Wow... So little time, so much things to do.

You know, ever since I become a supervisor in Herbalife everything starts to change. In the past, I was keeping to myself. Now I keep on talking and talking to people about our products. At my workplace, I had influenced 2 person to take Herbalife products and both of them have lose weight. Well, it's not my credit. It's Herbalife's credit... It's the product that is doing the job. I was merely sharing with people.

Use, Wear, Talk.. Use the product, Wear the button, Talk to people...

I take my shake in front of people, some ask me what am I taking every morning and there is one prospect.

I pin my buttons on my backpack, as I walked people behind can read the words "Lose Weight Now, Ask Me How", "Turun Berat Badan Anda Tanya Saya Bagaimana"

I share with people how I managed to lose weight. Can you imagine now I have lost a total of 9 kg!!! From 77kg until now 68kg..... Unbelievable, right?

Herbalife is really amazing. I want to lose weight, can. I want to gain weight, oso can. I want to maintain my weight and take a more nutrition lifestyle, can too.

These past weeks I did really encounter many incidents when I was calling up my friends one by one. Some will refused my politely when I told them I'm with Herbalife, some are already taking other products.. No problem! Some are not interested but still are willingly to give me referrals. Some agreed to attend the event, some told me they tried to attend if they got the time. Both positive and negative response, I received.

When I told them Herbalife sponsor LA Galaxy, some were like "Sure or not? I thought Adidas sponsor them the jesery already..." So I showed them the pic I took at Bangkok Extravaganza. I know there are many reports circulating in the net that Herbalife is a scam, it's a false, it's a trick to cheat ppl money.

Here you can read about testimonials from real people who benefited from Herablife

Why do Herbalife want to sponsor LA Galaxy, why Herbalife want to sponsor David Beckham? One of my friends was asking me, so I told me "Well, you should ask why does David Beckham wants Herbalife to sponsor him and his whole team?" I mean, there are so many companies who offered them free this free that, as long as they can wear their companies logo and run around in the football field. If Herbalife is really a scam, if Herbalife is really a trick to cheat ppl money, why would David Beckham wants to be the bigger fool and wear our jersey? As all of us know, he is a hell-of-a-rich SOB in England, he makes tonnes of money every year. Apparently he doesn't need to be paid by a fake company, dun you agree? I dun think he will be that stupid to choose any Tom, Dick or Harry company and wear their label running around the football field.

I dun need any more illustrations....

I have been telling everyone that I come face-to-face at my workplace that I'm resigning this Thursday. Many of them asked me why, since I have been working in CISCO for 5 yrs already.

Furthermore I was a SSgt there... I got rank there, got work experience there so why want to resign?

The sad truth is CISCO play me out....

Since they doesn't recognised my efforts in the company and promise me this but later turned out to be that, they treat me like a fool, my ex OC the Indian snake is the one who make me want to resign. In fact I already wanted to resign back in Apr when I learnt that he played me out, but I didn't cos' I'm a responsible person.

That time in Apr, one nite he came to me and told me that he and dunno which bunch of idiots got a meeting and in the meeting he was questioned why is there a SSgt in this team, whereas the rest are only Sgt? He claimed that he need me to go out from my post and resume duty in the office so that he can justify for my next promotion. He said I need to do office work; deployment, duty rooster, leave application and all those you know wah wu wah boh work. He also emphasise to me that I will have no chance to be at the field again cos' SSgt will not be at the ground anymore. So I think think... Ok loh, since this is the arrangement made by the Management. So the next day I reported back to PLD and I was told that I'll be leading a team to this new post, and the best part is my name is also one of the men there. Which means I still need to go and perform duty outside lah!!!! He told me this is to test my capability, see if I can be able to lead a team on my own. I was like stunned... What the fucking hell does this means? I need to go to the post to do my duty and also do my deployment, duty rooster, leave application... How can I manage all these? It was a 12 hour post and where am I going to find the time for my deployment, rooster, leave... I know that this Indian snake play me out. Someone at the previous post doesn't like me so now this Indian snake used underhand method to get me out. So what I did was I request to see him concerning this issue. I SMS him a 2 page long message and all he reply was "busy". KNNBCCB.... Just one word? Before that, when he sees me he will smile at me and talk to me... After what he did to me, he treat me as transparent... He just walked past me. Isn't it obvious?

I wanted to throw my resignation letter that time but I choose to stay on cos' the whole team of men are new. They all just passed out from CISCO not long ago, so I being their in-charged I need to guide them and make sure they will be alright there. In the mean time I also look for another job before I can tender, so I just wait for the right time to come. And guess what I found Herbalife. I went for the event and see if it suits me or not. Events after events, slowly I learnt about the marketing plan, the products, the success...

This is what I want, this is what I have been looking for....

In fact, I want to throw my letter within 24 hours last month. I really got no more interest in CISCO. My parents told me not to do that, it's best to give one month prior notice. I tell my sponsor about my decision that I want to resign 24 hours. She told me not to do that cos' it will leave a bad impression on me. I need to give one month notice before I bid goodbye. Okay, I listen to my sponsor, I typed my letter and hand it over to my new OC. That Indian snake doesn't dare to look at me. News spread very fast and almost everyone in the office knows my resignation. That Indian snake still got the balls to ask me if I am interested to go back to my old post, I told him no need anymore. Once I made this decision, I won't turn back anymore.

There is one more idiot who also refused to entertain me when I told him I wanted to see him back in Apr. He purposely avoided me, guess what? A Senior Inspector doing this to someone who requested to see him, not one not twice but many times. How busy can he be? 24 hours working no rest? So when I told him I wanted to resign and my new company is with Herbalife,he told me he also ever work in MLM before and it was all crap. He couldn't make any money so he quitted. He even wanted to give me 2 month unpaid leave to go and try it out first. I told him my decision is final and I want to resign from CISCO. He said it's not worth it lah, it's all crap one... I told him one thing "Now it's July 2008... in July 2010 I will come back and prove to you my decision is correct and my pay that time will be more than what you're earning"

I know that some people will say I'm foolish to quit my job without securing a new job first. But I know what I want in my life and I won't regret my decision.

Monday, August 04, 2008

It seems many people are pretty skeptical about my new job.... I have been making a lot of calls to all my C.O.I. but many of them are not to my favour. I just want to share with them my product results and invite them to our event. I won't force them to sign up or sell anything to them. Some are negative, some are positive, some still hear me out and some really shunned me. I doesn't really take it to heart cos' I used to be one of them too. I used to think that doing this business: either you will be very successfully and lose all your friends or you will be broke and lose all your friends.

Sometimes this is called retribution loh... Now I'm doing something that I used to hate... Life is like that, you want it, you don't get it. You refused it, it end up in your hands.

But I will not regret this decision....

Cos' I truly believe it.

When I share with one of my friends that there are people who earned US$200,000 a month, he asks me did I make a mistake, I told him no I didn't.

"How could that be, so much income a month?"

If you were to wake up early in the morning before sun rise, and you go out to talk to people...
If you make a promise that you will talk to 20 people everyday before you go back home to sleep and even till 1 plus 2am you didn't make that quota you dun go back home...
If you keep to your promise, no matter rain or shine, summer or winter...
If you carry on doing it over and over and over and over again, for 20 years...

US$200,000, do you think it's not possible, NOW?

I only see them earning big bucks sitting at the tables in front of all of us, driving big cars, staying in mansions... but who ever see how hard they work to get there? Countless of black balls they used to receive, much more black balls than white balls... So much that they become immune to rejections.

Rejections are not personal, they are merely inspirations for you to move on.

不经历风雨 怎么见彩虹 没有人能随随便便成功...

During the few days that I didn't go to work, I got the chance to spend some quality time with momo. I bring her downstairs to play. She was chasing me from behind, with her arms open wide, I hide and she seek, I feed her dinner and she open her mouth to me, I change her diapers and she looks by and laugh, I tuck her to bed, I took pics of her...

All the above seems so far away from me before. I hardly got the chance to do any of those, not to mention all of it. But I did all of them just the few days when I was at home with her. I think work from home can gives me a kind of money-cannot-buy feeling. Esp, when momo doesn't has a mother to love her. I just want to give her all the best I can provide for her.

I'm not great, no I'm not. I think it's every parents wish for their kids.

Well, if momo isn't that noti at home, that will be great...

情願辛苦好幾年, 也不要辛苦一輩子...

Friday, August 01, 2008

Finally got some time to blog here. Must hurry cos' I need to do my own leads later. While momo is sleeping after her milk, I got some time for myself. So let's not waste time and get down to business.

Momo is growing day by day, taller and taller. Didn't see her often and now when I took her photos, I realise how much she has grown up. Her features are more distinguished and her looks resembles more like me. Ha! Of cos' lah...

I discovered something, momo is a left-handed too, just like me. But this is not something that I'm proud of. I mean, it will be difficult for her to write and eat. When she grows up a little more, I have to make her write with her right hand. I saw her kicking (only) her left leg in the air, you know she is just imitating my dad doing exercises. I was telling my mum she is a left-handed and how I doesn't want her to be a left-handed but her dad is in fact a left-handed too so naturally momo will also inherited my genes.

That nite before I left for Bangkok, I was playing with momo hide and seek. She was hiding in the closet playing open sesame, close sesame. She went inside and begin to close the door and the open the door again. Each time she "appear" she will giggle so loud. Well, as long she doesn't cry, anything will do.

Does this pic looks like she just come out from the ladies?

Testing out with my new camera from Fujifilm, Finepix Z20fd. Not bad the outcome, considering it's a 10M camera.

I bought it specially for me to bring it to Bangkok to take pics. I have been looking for a camera that is not too expensive, affordable to me, compact, high in pixels. This is the camera...
I will be doing my new full time job soon. It gives me the opportunity to have my financial freedom, work from home, decide my own income, and the most importantly to spend more time with momo. Momo already doesn't have a mum so I wants the best for her. I want to give her everything that she deserves to have.

So which company that get me hooked that I can 100%, absolutely, definitely, without a shadow of a doubt willingly to work for the rest of my life in?

This is the company!!! Herbalife International!!!

Want to hear more about my trip to the Herbalife Bangkok Extravaganza? Of cos' I want to share with all of you my beloved peeps, I can't wait to break out the fantastic news to all of you, I simply have so much to share with all of you but I have to keep the best for the last. Ha!

So just read on and then you will see the pics that I took during the trip. Before I carry on, there are some nice pics that I took the week before I went to Bangkok. I doesn't know if you feel the same as me, but I think it's nice sceneries.

Taken at Hotel Rendezvous... I was taking Orlando for a walk cos' he was on a holiday to Singapore from all the way from Philippines. This pic, basically I had to sit on the floor to capture this shot.

This corridor, without a shadow in sight. Where was it taken? Well, at CHIJMES. On the left, it was actually a spa.

This pic, it was taken at Esplanade. Nice view across the Marina Bay...

Okay, here comes to my trip...

I flew to Bangkok, Thailand on the 24th July. First time to Thailand... I used to hear so many times that how cheap the things there are, many people specially went there to shop and buy and shop and buy. I didn't went there to buy, I did bought a few things there but the main reason why I got the chance to be there is thanks to Herbalife!!!

I took the Airasia flight there. First time taking budget airlines. The feeling isn't that too bad, well it was just a 1 hour plus 2 hour flight so it doesn't really matter if you're taking a budget plane or a SQ flight. I took a nap soon after I board the plane and when I wake up, it was almost reaching Bangkok. See?

We are so lucky to be able to stay in Asia Hotel. There is a "MRT" station connected to this hotel. I doesn't know what it is called in Thailand so.... I didn't check it out the train service cos' I didn't have time to. We check it to the hotel, rest for a while and then we went shopping. For me, it was more like window shopping. I budget myself not to buy unnecessary things back home. Do you know that more than half of the rooms in Asia is booked by Herbalife distributors? We are the PhD... Professional Herbalife Distributors.

The hotel gives me the impression that I'm at Peninsula Hotel... Agree?

This is the MBK shopping mall. The things there are cheap and nice... We had our dinner there, steamboat yum yum... Well, when times to eat we eat, when times to enjoy we enjoy, when times to lose weight, we lose weight (when we go back to Singapore).

After dinner we went back to Asia Hotel to put our things in our room and.... we went for Thai massage. All the way went to Thailand of cos' must go for the Thai massage. Guess how much was it? Cheap cheap... only 500 baht for 2 hours, about SGD$18. The massage is so shiok... 9 of us went and we were all lying side by side, didn't hold hands but you see me pain pian i see you shiok shiok. Well, this is the life of Herbalife. We work together we play together we enjoy together.

After a bone-cracking, finger pressing session, we went to the night market nearby, Suan Lum. I should have took pics at the stalls itself but I was so busy looking for things to buy that I basically forget about it. NO PROBLEM!! I did manage to buy a carrier for my huge 2 litres water bottle. Next time if got chance then I show to you ok?

Somewhere at the back of Suan Lam... I snap it when we are walking towards our van that is going to pick us up back to the hotel. Do you know that the cabs there are mostly Toyota Altis? Of cos' lah, Altis is manufactured in Thailand mah...

See, Suan Lum Night Bazaar...

We reached our hotel, 1 plus am Bangkok time. And we have to wake up at 4am. The coach is not going to wait for any latecomers. Wow... So exciting cos' it's going to have 20,000 supervisors attending the event, from 13 different countries from the Asia Pacific.

Which company can organise such a big event every year? Last year the Extravaganza held in Singapore Expo we got 17000 supervisors attending and you know how much the Singapore economy benefits from just a 4 day event? It was reported that the revenue generated from the air flights, hotel accommodations, travel, food we ate, shopping... was about SGD$20 million?!?! It was unbelievable.

The event was held at Impact Exhibition & Convention Center. The journey from Asia Hotel to Impact was about 45 mins, so can catch some sleep on the bus too. Even though the time zone is one hour difference, Bangkok is one hour behind Singapore time ( I know many of you already know that, yeah ok...) but the streets is already so bright at 6am, just like in Singapore when it was 7am. Normally in Singapore 6am is still dark but not there in Thailand.

Oh no, this is not everyone who went to Bangkok in this photo. It was just a small handful of us. The rest are taking their own photos elsewhere. I was the camera-man so I wasn't inside.

All of us waiting for the door to be opened cos' it was too early. The entrance will be opened at 9am and we were already there at 7am. It's not that we are kiasu but can you imagine there will be 20,000 supervisors attending this event. It's gonna be a human wall. Just from China alone there are 7000 of them, they already made up 1/3 of the attendance.

Yeah, everyone need to be screened, bags checked and no large baggage are allowed in the event hall. In the past, there is no such thing but since after so many bombings, everywhere you go it's about the same procedures.

These are just the early birds... Wait till you read on later... You will get shocked...

See, finally you can see me appearing...

Me taking pics with David Beckham... Ha! Just in case you're wondering what does David Beckham got to do with Herbalife? We sponsor LA Galaxy and you can see he is wearing a Herbalife jersey. If such a world famous footballer player choose Herbalife, then what are you waiting for?

This is one of our Herbalife doctors, Dr Luigi Gratton. I tell you, he is a really nice guy. He got no airs and he is so well-loved by everyone. Just remember him, okay....

This is the world renowned philosopher Jim Rohn.

Has addressed over 6,000 audiences and 4 million people worldwide
Is the author of 17 different books, audio and video programs
Has been internationally hailed over the years as one of the most influential thinkers of our time

Next year Extravaganza 2009 will be at KINTEX, Korea!!!.. Wow, I can't wait to go to Korea for the 3rd time. No way I'm going to miss this event. Summer season, can't wait to see all those kimchi gals. Maybe I will bring momo over too. I think next year momo will be old enough to talk, right?

This is really a 100% Korean girl, not someone from the participants like one of us. She is here to promote this 2009 Extravaganza event in Impact.

These 2 big head dolls are so cute and friendly. They were about to have their break when I approached them for a photo taking and they agreed. Dunno if they are guy or gal behind the costumes. Both guys or both gals or.... never mind.

See, Herbalife in Philippines!!! One Country....

See, Herbalife in Thailand, the host country!!! 2nd country...

Herbalife in Taiwan!!! 3rd country...

Herbalife in Hong Kong!!! 4th country...

I want to go, I want to go papa... I'm a Herbalife baby...

Piak, you be good and papa will take you there next year... now go and drink your milk first...

This was the 2nd day of the event. You can see along the slope they were rushing towards the door when it opened. All are rushing for the seats, all rushing to get in to the hall, all are rushing to be part of the event. Here we are all Herbalife family members, regardless of your race, your gender, your nationality, your age, your height, your weight (no fat ppl here cos' all of us are products of the product)... 20,000 supervisors with 20,000 product testimonials with 20,000 stories to tell why they want to do this business. Can you feel the passion?

Down there, you will suddenly be a patriot of your own country. You will love your country flags, waving and carrying it wherever you go.

More crowds coming in, more and more crowds coming to this event hall.

Still coming in? Never ending? Wow...

Finally I went into the even hall... I really can't imagine, I got no words to describe to you the atmosphere there, everyone will is dancing and even standing on their chairs waving their country flags high in the air. Once you step in, you totally "blend" into the crowd. No wonder my sponsor keep on telling me...

"You have to go, you have to go... Go to the Extravaganza and your life will never be the same again."

Taken from the right side....

Taken from the diagonally left...

Taken from the left side...

Taken from the back...

Can you guess what is this healthy old man's age? He is from the country of Taiwan!! He is 92 years already this year!! If a 92 years old grandfather can be at this event, and if he is with Herbalife, then what excuse for us to have for not to be there?

I was in queue for autography by Dr Luigi cos' I bought his book.

See how friendly is he? He take pics with everyone with a smile, and a firm handshake after that. Everyone in Herbalife loves him...

That's me, the next Chairman's Club member... Well, it's the goal for all of us here.

This was taken from my hotel room. No time for a dip even though it's just there.

I got so much fun during these 4 days. We exchange buttons from the other countries, you just walk around and if you see any nice ones, you just approached them and ask if you can have one of theirs in exchange for one of yours.

This baby is so cute!!! It's a Herbalife baby from Taiwan... You know what, her mum take our products when she was pregnant with her, all the way from conceiving till birth and there you see how good looking and healthy she looks

Of cos' I won't let go any chance to take pics with gals, esp korean gals. Well, they change buttons with me on the last day so we just take a photo together.

Ever since I joined Herbalife, I have learn to smile. It comes naturally. That is the side effects of taking Herbalife products. I will see them in KINTEX, Korea next year. Dame Boja...

And these are the buttons I have exchange from the other countries. Well, in fact most of them are from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia.

It was truly a life experiencing for me. It gives me a chance to see so many people who wants to change their lives, some already changed their lives, some is trying to change their lives. Here in Herbalife, you dun need to be the top notch salesman, you dun need to have any sales experience, you dun need to know how to talk, you dun need to think how to do your business. All you need to do is to follow, follow the footsteps of those people who have succeeded. Here you will never need to walk alone. There will always be someone who will guide you all the way, from those who earned USD$200,000 a month, from those who is so poor that they have no roof over their top, from those who used to stay in a house that is so small that if he was to invite 4 people to have dinner 2 of them have to sit outside, from those people who used to live in the drains, from those who were farmers milking cows, from those who has to pack a rice cooker when she go to the Extravaganza cos' she can't afford the food there, from those who earned only a USD$1 per day, from those who can't even afford to take a bus and have to walk 3 miles to send his daughter to school.

Cos' Herbalife mission is: Changing People's Lives.

Believe it , Achieve it.

Our products are not meant to sell, it is fulfilling ones needs.

MLM is not Multi-level Marketing, it's means Making Lives Meaningful.

Before I end I would like to share with all of you one story:

At this town there are many little frogs gathered together for a compeitition. They all want to get to the top of the tower. Many people were shouting to them "It's too tall, you can never make it!" Some frogs simple just give up. So the rest start to climb up to the top. As times goes by, more and more frogs give up cos' people were shouting to them "It's too tall, you can never make it!" More and more frogs give up, more and more frogs give up. But there is this little frog who still continue to climb up to the top, he just refused to give up and finally he reached the top. Everyone is so stunned how did he make it to the top whereas every other frogs had failed. In fact this little frog is nothing special, just that he is..... deaf.
