Just come back from Malacca... Depart on the 23rd come back on the 25th, spend 2 nites there. I was staying at Mahkota Hotel Melaka, got 10 of us going there...
I didn't take much pics there, so pity...
Day 1 (23rd Dec)

We departed on the 23rd early morning, about 5 plus am. Book a M'sian mini bus, the driver actually picked us all up from our doorstep. Not really our doorstep but below our blocks, one by one. Cos' I was staying at Jurong West and it was the nearest to Tuas 2nd link, so I was the last person to board the mini bus. The Tuas checkpoint was so quiet, no one else except us was there. Of cos' lah, who on earth will travel to Malaysia so early in the morning.

We had our breakfast in Malaysia. Dun ask me where we had our breakfast cos' I myself oso doesn't know the place. But I guess should be in Johore, hehe.... After which, we continue our journey to Malacca. The whole journey was quite a easy one. We passed by the highway, saw a bus ganna summon by the Malaysian Polis. The driver was telling me that cars can travel at 110km/h, minibus and bus can only go at 90km/h. As we passed through, the driver suddenly pointed to us something... Really so funny leh, there is actually a polis hiding behind the pillar. We are going towards this direction and on facing we can't see him cos' he was behind the pillar, so this motive is to snap your speed after you passed him. Instead of snapping you face to face, he actually snapping your butt.

Smart, huh?

We reached Malacca about 10 plus am. Arrived at Mahkota Hotel and found my dear sleeping at the lobby. Yeah, my dear went in before me a few days ago. She went to Genting with her friends. God knows how many days they didn't bathe... Dear drove in and they actually sleep in her car. They were telling us that they go around Genting to look for toilet to bathe. Yucks... Sounds like those survival training, heh? Lost or Survivor, they watched too much...

We dropped our bags and we head to A Famosa. I didn't know that A Famosa was so far away from the central of Malacca. The journey to there was like more than an hour. It was a Sunday and the crowd lining outside was like.... SO LONG!!! So crowded!!!! We decided to adopt change of plans. We shall go shopping instead. So we went to have our lunch at one of the nonya restaurant. Dun ask me where is the place again... I didn't remember the street name. One thing good about in Malaysia is that everything is self-service. The waitress served us chinese tea the first round. When we wanted to refill, we had to go and take the flask ourselves. I offered my services so I asked the staff there if I can take the flask. When I was holding it walking towards my table, at the next table one of the gals actually signals to me asking me to refill her cup. I didn't bother to respond to her and went back to my seat. I was telling my dear what happen and she said I do look like a waiter... Oh thanks... I was wearing bermudas and do waiters wear bermudas working in restaurants.

After lunch, we head back to our hotel. My dear was so tired and she was sleeping in the mini bus. Her head was like.... Oh forget it. I think you can imagine how her hair looks like when someone didn't wash her hair for like.... 4 days? We went back to our rooms, took a rest and then meet at the lobby to go shopping. Me and my dear was sharing one suite room with another 2 person. So four of us staying in the same room, another four person staying in another room and the 3rd room only occupy by 2 person. So total we only book 3 rooms. We went to the shopping mall just opposite to our hotel for shopping. I didn't buy much things except a swimming trucks and a pair of pants. The swimming trucks was for tomorrow for me to wear at A Famosa. We actually wanted to go for the satay celup for dinner at Taman Bungan Raya... It was actually a steamboat but the soup, instead of the normal soup that we normally have for steamboat, it was actually satay gravy. Yeah, I know for those Malaysians who are reading this are laughing at me so suaku. One person I can think of is the Jolene Lai, dunno if she got read my blog or not leh... If you do, leave me a msg lah... Yeah, wanted to go for the satay celup but the queue is so damn long so in the end we drop the whole idea. We end up having our dinner at Nando's, at the shopping mall opposite Mahkota Hotel. I saw there is Seoul Garden's there too. And guess what, here in Singapore the price is about $28 per adult, there is oso $28 per adult. It was so much cheaper there. Can you imagine down there it only cost like RM$28 per adult?

After dinner we went to Jonker Walk. At KL, there got Jalan Petaling, at Malacca got Jonker Walk. Not very long the whole stretch of road but still fun to walk from one end to the other end. Got many things to see and eat...

When we were there, there is a singing stage for the people to go up to the stage and sang their own songs. I doesn't is it a singing competition or just casual singing. As we walked, we saw whatever we want to eat we buy.

This hawker is frying carrot cake. Oh boy, he was sweating and wiping his sweat as he stand in front of the fire. Got a long queue there too.

The whole stretch of Jonker Walk.

Day 2 (24th Dec)

We had our breakfast at the hotel lobby, need to queue up for a good 20 mins before we got a table. The breakfast is standard, quite standard. Scrambled eggs, sausage, nasi lemak, porridge, orange juice, bread and toast, redang and mutton, etc. We planned to depart from our hotel at 11am but due to the earlier delay at the buffet breakfast, we depart from our hotel around 11:30am. An hour journey from our hotel to A Famosa....

The place was pretty old. The water theme park was located right at the end of the fortress. Oh yes, for those who didn't know, A Famosa was in Portuguese which means the fortress. During the 15th century when the Portuguese occupied Malacca, they build this A Famosa. You can still see the main gate at the entrance. Damn it, forget to take a pic of it!!!! Nevertheless, let's come back to my trip. We bought the tickets and went to get changed. The locker were using tokens instead of coins. When I changed at the Nursery counter, I thought it was some kind of joke. Why on earth the girl give me tokens? First thing come to my mind is she thought I was changing for tokens to play at the arcade centre. Then I looked around and the sign says "insert 2 tokens" paste at the locker... okay then...

Sorry, no pics cos' I didn't bring my hp with me. How to bring my hp when I was playing the rides and slides, all wet? We didn't stay there for long.. No, not the whole day there. We only play each slide once or twice and that's it, proceed to the next one... It looks like the old Wet and Wild. We end our stay last at the beach pool, play some games and enjoy the waves as it comes. Pretty nice there... When we left, it was even raining slightly.

See, proof that I went there....

We went back to the hotel, bathe and take a short rest. Whole body is so dirty cos' we didn't get to bathe at A Famosa. There are so many ppl using the shower room. We only take a quick shower on the outside public area. So tired when we reached our hotel rooms... I just throw my wet clothes on the floor and hit to the bed.

We got time to take a rest about 1 hour or so. Then we agreed to meet at the hotel lobby for our X'mas dinner. I didn't take note of the restaurant we went to, I remembered it was near to Jonker Walk. The boss was a nice man, he give us free flow of red wine but I didn't take red wine lah. I choose to drink free flow of fruit juice. You know the fruit juice consists of real pulps of fruits. The restaurant served lamb, beef and turkey... free flow oso. Pretty good deal, huh? And the next best thing is per person is only cost about SGD$20 or so. Such good deal where to find. Only in Malaysia..... (sing sing a bit here)

After dinner we went to a nice cool pub near to the seaside, Sunshine Bar... The day before we bought 12 cans of party spray (sorry forget to take pics) we brought along to the pub. The music is so-so only and the countdown part, the DJ actually didn't catch hold of it. The clock had struck past 12 for some time then he did the countdown. Maybe the time in MY is diff from SG time... On the whole, the trip there is nothing worth mentioning. The music, I oso dunno which music they're playing, the atmosphere is still ok... we reached there about 11pm, we left around 1 am.

A pic of the entrance...

See, I didn't bluff you again....

Day 3 (25th Dec)

We had our breakfast again at the hotel lobby, again the same cafe at the previous day. The food is about the same but this time we had lesser. Not much queue oso, at least we dun need to queue up for like 15-20 mins like the day before. We were ushered to the same table again, eat basically the same variety of food again... Scrambled eggs, sausage, nasi lemak, porridge, orange juice, bread and toast, redang and mutton, etc.
After breakfast, we went back to our hotel room. I did my packing early in the morning so I dun need to rush through. I steadily lie on the bed and read The Straits Times. Pls note that it's the Malaysia Straits Times, not the Singapore Straits Times. Since it was free, I found it hanging at our hotel room so I just utilised it to pass time. That was the first time I saw Samy Velu pic. I didn't know how he looks like in the past. I only heard of his name...
We checked out of the hotel and we load our bags into the mini bus. I should have put my bags at the hotel lobby, at least I dun need to take it with me. Well, never mind since i brought it along with me. We went to get some local products before going back to Singapore. Where is the best option to get local products?
Of cos' at Tan Kim Hock lah...
See, the sign so big there...

Idea leh... so high the products are displayed....
I know it's near to Xmas but that doesn't mean even the Chinese products need to decorate like the X'mas tree. In case you think that the products will fall down when the wind blows then you are wrong. It was scotch taped from top to bottom and from bottom to top. Just to play insurance... Someone was commenting what if here comes a wilful sassy g/f who is telling his b/f that she wants to buy a box of it.
"No, not this one... I want the box at..... the..... top....one.......!! Right at the top row!!!"

Luckily my dear isn't those kind of wilful sassy g/f. Give her some credit here. I bought some products back home. Got dried pineapple, jelly, durian rolls, etc. Tired to name them one by one here....

Come to Malacca of cos' must try the famous chendol mah...

A small bowl of chendol, the portion is even less than the top of the bowl.

Last stop is to try the famous chicken rice ball. The shop at Jalan Mushi Abdullah is crowded so we went to the A Famosa stall. The whole place is macham like a palace...

Jilaka sia...

Can you imagine at the restaurant you can find the emperor throne? I didn't take any pic of myself sitting on it, my dear did, but I'm not going to post the pic of her here. Reason is obvious.... Frankly speaking, dear sitting on it she got the prestige look...
After that, we head back to Mahkota Hotel. Those who left their luggage at the hotel lobby, picked their pieces up and took the mini bus back to their home. Yeah, the driver will actually send us back right to our door step, just as how he picked us on our first day. I mean he will send us back to below our blocks. That is the deal we made with his boss, he will fetch us to and fro Malacca, and oso throughout our stay there wherever we want to go. But I didn't take the mini bus back. I choose to sit at dear's car. 2 of her friends were oso going back with us, so one of the guys drove her car back to SG. I was sitting at the back sleeping with dear. We left Malacca city around 1:30pm and I reached home about 4 pm. So can you imagine how fast the driver drove.. I took a fast peek at the speedometer a few times and it shows.... 160kmh... 150kmh... 170kmh..... Wow... the fastest I ever go is maybe 120kmh, and that was only like for a good 10s or so at the PIE before going back to 100kmh. He was like 1.......6......0kmh for an hour or so.
I know that's normal at the Malaysian highway... Everyone drives at that speed. bleh bleh...

Okay, now it's time to blog about this little girl...

I didn't get any toys for her during my stay in Malacca. Dun cry, momo.... When I got home, she was sleeping hugging her bolster. Now she not only hugs her bolster but she oso knows there is a spare one my mum keeps at the closet. She will point her little finger at the closet to my mum demanding she wants the extra one too. So now when she sleeps she will be hugging 2 bolsters. Can you imagine how weird she looks when she sleep? Her legs are long, I know that, but as to hug 2 bolsters in between her legs was like too short for her to do that. I mean bolsters are designed to be use as a single unit, not too be greedy. Even when she wakes up, she will be carrying both of them walking out crying, looking for my mum to carry her.

Now momo knows how to shake her head when she doesn't want me to feed her or kiss her. My mum will tell her "C'mon, kiss papa" and she will shake her head. I tell her to "Kiss papa" and she will shake her head. Sigh.....

Little momo looks like a tomboy or a gangster in this pose? She like to wear my mum's slippers at the kitchen so we give her a pair of her own slippers to wear. So cute....

Little momo dressed up ready to go out. She always like to itchy finger, come from nowhere and then pressed my laptop. Dun worri, when papa get a new one this laptop will be your play toy...

Now, can you disagree or what? Little momo got the cut and looks to be a supermodel. From this pic, you can tell that she is actually walking when I snap her pic. Just visualise that behind is the dressing room where she get to change... Maybe can consider to let her do modelling when she is a bit older, to pay off her papa's debts. ( just joking) Do I look that bad to exploit my own daughter?

Now momo looks more like a girl.

Nice song by Kim Ah Joong

Mine turn to blog liao lah.... (little momo)

me just wake up from nap nap.. got nothing to do so I just blog loh... I give this song to my papa cos' I think he is good good loh... This show the jie jie very pretty, momo oso want to be pretty when I grow up. In the show the jie jie choose to say that old man is her papa in front of many many people. She dun want many many money but she want her papa. Jie jie hug hug her papa cry, jie jie in the end got more money cos' people support her even more... Okay time for momo to drink milk loh, if not papa will beat my pat pat...
