Some more pics of me and Orlando...

Now Orlando is back to Philippines... He send me some pics that we took together. His is digital camera so naturally it will be much clearer than mine. No matter how good the mobile camera is, at most is 3M pixels or 3.2M pixels. Digital cameras is like 8M pixels.... So the comparsion is unnecessary.

Taken at Boon Lay MRT, just before the train moves off... Too dark, maybe?

We take another one, more brighter....

This was taken somewhere between Chinese Garden MRT and Chinese Garden itself. Orlando says he wants the blocks of flats as background. I know HDB flats are so common, everywhere there are HDB flats. But to a foreigner, it's something new. I remember that time when I went to Korea, the tour guide will feel puzzled why so many ppl loves to take pics underneath a tree during winter. She will ask them what is a nice to take pics with a wintered tree, with no leaves. She doesn't understand that in Singapore, we cannot find any tree that is still going strong but with no leaves. Yes, there are trees with no leaves here but those are about to die ones. So maybe the saying "Moon are always rounder in other countries"

This was taken just outside Chinese Garden entrance.

This was taken at the bridge... Few more steps and we are inside Chinese Garden already.

This pic is the show-stopper. Actually I doesn't want to post this as this pic will add to the disappointment. It was taken outside Boon Lay GV. I doesn't know that Orlando is snapping me paying my bills. Paying bills that are unable to clear.... Pay and pay and yet still paying... Some one left the shit for me to clear. It was like sweeping the water from the sea back into the sea....

Saturday I got the whole day at home to spend with momo. So I took her together with my mum and one nerdy girl, who by chance is my sister-in-law, to NTUC to buy groceries. My mum doesn't want to leave momo at home. She says it is a good idea to bring this little curious girl out to explore. I think of leaving momo at home but since there are 3 of us going, so why not bring momo along.
I thought of bring the baby pram out. Actually I forgotten to take the baby pram out. I suddenly remembered when we are walking along the common corridor. My mum was saying it's okay cos' we can take turn to carry momo.
When we reached NTUC, I realized that the groceries cart can accommodate toddlers. So I just let little momo sit inside.

See, is she happy? She has been sitting a lot in her walker at home. Now she is sitting in a car that her legs can't touch the floor.

What is the thing at the left side?

Why are you taking my pics without asking my papa? You dun come near to steal my barang barang behind me okay.... My grandma is paying for them.

You believe or not? I give you a kick in the face. I angry liao... you back off okay.... Actually momo isn't angry, just that she likes to grin her teeth. Few days ago, my mum was telling me momo was spotting with 2 new upper teeth protruding from her gums. I actually try to feel them and I even take a peek at it. So small, so cute... but just that there is a gap in between them. Now momo got 4 teeth, 2 upper 2 lower.
She tends to bite my fingers when I was feeding her with some small food.
And it hurts. Ouch!!!
She got so many facial expressions. If there is a chance, I'll snap her pics and post them here.

Momo loves Cheezels. See how she is holding onto such a big packet.
Yesterday I went to do OT at Bright Hill Temple... Got sun burn at my arms, face and neck. I don't want to post any pics of myself here. It definitely doesn't look nice. So many cars coming in, but the parking space is limited. Those cars coming in were all looking for parking lots. No stopping along the way waiting for vehicles to move off. It isn't like that we normally see at the carparks. We gotta chase them away. Those who refused to move off.. will got a summon by the TP. There is one stupid red coloured car who refused to move off, so the TP gotta step in and the driver got a ticket to Hotel California... The parking lots are like first come first serve basis. Even that, it also depends on your luck. You can be entering in and there isn't any vehicles moving off... Just when you are about to leave, a car drove off and the car behind you gets the vacant lot. But you can't have it cos' your car is already like 5m away. You can't reverse back, so you gotta leave the car park and find your own car lot elsewhere.
The nice thing of doing OT is you can see many things, other than what you see during your normal duties. Yesterday I got too see how does a Cherry QQ looks like. It is really small, smaller than Kia Picanto or Kancil. Really small... I also have the chance to see Geely. Actually China made cars wasn't that bad looking either.

Few days liao since I last blogged. The laptop in my room sucks. Really sucks.

Little momo is now 9 months and 3 days old. I didn't take any pics of her for quite some time now. She is still the same old momo, still so noti and still got noti...

I think momo has grow a bit taller now. Cos' now when i carry her and put her on the table in the kitchen, her head is above the shelves. In the past, her head will "nicely" go underneath it. So it has been proven that momo is taller now.

Thought of getting her something, maybe a new pacifier or maybe a new pillow. I always thought that momo is so strong, her legs always inflict pain whenever she kicks me. Damn hard her bones... So I assume she will be able to walk when she was 9 months old, but she still can't stand up on her own feet.

Recently, momo is using the less better type of diapers. Those diapers that are selling at Giant, Giant's brand diapers. No more Petpet or Drypers. It doesn't have the elastic band at the back so whenever momo is wearing her new diapers, it looks like she is wearing those low cut shorts. Ha! Anyway, she seems to be quite happy cos' I can now play with her every nite before she sleeps. It is not that in the past I don't, but now my shift changes so I can spend my nights with her.

Have anyone notices that now whenever someone wants to leave any comments in my blog, all of it needs to be moderated by me, the blog author. I, of cos', welcome any comments left by my friends. But I just don't like it when the person chooses to be anonymous. You can choose your identity, either to be a blogger or other. I understand not everyone who reads my blog is a registered blogger but you can tick the "other" box and type in your own nick or name. It's perfectly fine with me if you doesn't want to reveal your name. But just at least tell me your nick.

Since you're reading my blog posts, then it shows that you're a friend of mine. Any friends of mine is also friends of little momo. Since you dare to admit that you're a friend of mine and momo, then why don't you dare to leave your name or nick? I strongly believes that friends of mine and momo are not someone are are liars, cheaters, hanky-panky, thief in the night, low- scums, etc. I strongly believes that all my friends are upright and got nothing to hide. All of my friends are those who dare to go out during stormy weathers cos' lightnings will not strike them and dare to leave their bags open cos' no one will steal their belongings.

If that is the case then I just don't see any reason why there is a need to remain anonymous.

In future, I see any more anonymous, I will not approve their comments. I will just send them to the trash bin.

I saw one shop at Jurong Point that is "Momo".... I know there is also a Club Momo at Magazine Road.

Momo will be proud to know that there is a shop named after her. Ha!

Till now, I didn't went inside so I doesn't know what's selling at the store.

Nevertheless, I guess it should be some form of toys or gifts shop.

Located at 3rd floor of Jurong Point...

Finally got the chance to meet up with my pen-pal from Philippines.

Me and Orlando, taken at Orchard Road.

Here are the pics that I took during the trip to Chinese Garden last week. Earlier on it was drizzling a bit. We took the MRT to Chinese Garden and walked inside. Tell you something, I dun even remember if there is a ticket we need to purchase. As far as I can remember, I dun even remember if I have been to there during my primary school days.

We passed by the entrance and we saw two ticket booths, not it use anymore. So in the past, the visitors need to get a ticket to get inside. Now of cos' it is not applicable anymore. Who would want to visit there if now at this present moment, we still need to pay.

This overview is taken at the top of the 8th storey pagoda. We got a hard time climbing the stairs. Tsk, tsk....

The view of the spinal stairs taken from the bottom to way up.

The view of the spinal stairs taken from top to way down.

The ancient door bell... Manual one more more, dun need battery

Momo got more stuffs to her collection.

She is still so small, for her size...

But never mind, cos' some day she will grow fatter and till then she is able to...

Some of the stuffs are given to me by my good friend and my dear cousin Valerie...

Momo is so small and yet so pampered... She already has her own collections of toys and clothes.

This pair of shoes resembles the one I got. I used to wear it whenever I took my driving lessons and finally my TP test.

This pair of shoes it looks so comfortable. Momo will likes it...

Closed-up. It is a pic of Hello Kitty leh....

Doremon pair of slippers. I did try it on momo, but her feet are still small for it.

This pair of sandles is more feminine. Momo will look nice wearing a skirt or dress... Provided she has more hair, longer hair.

This pair of slippers is my fav. Momo will difinitely look very rugged when she is wearing an army printed skirt or top, with this pair of slippers.

This feeding chair is a courtesy from my cousin. It comes with a cushion but my mum removes it. Cos' she says that it will get dirty very easily. You know how noti momo is... She loves to poo in her diapers. Yeah, every toddler does that... When feeding her, she likes to rub her mouth with her hands and then rub her hands against the chair. Or she will dip her hands in her bowl of cereal or porridge and then rub her hands against the chair.

Momo's first golf set... I know she is still too young to play with golf balls. I just hope that she won't use it and go around hitting the fat cat in my home. A courtesy from my friend I know during my NS times.

Momo won't be able to play with it till she is about 2 yrs old or so. We always see on TV that babies after drinking this XYZ brand of formula will be able to fit those funny shapes of playdough into the respective shapes.

Momo play with this everytime. She will touch it, frown her eyebrows and then start to bite it.

Not to mention momo, even me myself I also dun how how to play with it. One day, one fine day I will record a video of myself playing a simple song, just one simple song. Right now, I'm still finding the correct piece to hit to get the correct sound.

This is papa duck and momo duck...

Momo is growing and we find her able to clinch her hands on the sides of the playpan. We guess sooner or later she will be able to get herself over the playpan... Momo is so strong although she is skinny. Just look at her noti look here... Soon she will be able to stand and then nothing is going to stop her.

Sexy, naughty, bitchy... Is momo sexy? Is momo naughty? Momo is not bitchy.... Taken after her bath, she loves it when she gets to play with water.

Momo enjoys the limelights... Look at the grin at her face...
Momo is eating those baby biscuits specially for those infants who are growing teeth. She likes it, chicken favour... She doesn't want to share with me...

My pen-pal, Orlando, from Philippines came to Singapore for holiday. He has been to Singapore for a few times already. The last time we met was in 2001. Now in 2007, he is here again. I took him to Chinese Garden. He has never been there before so he wants to pay there a visit. I agreed to take him there cos' me myself also had never been before. Sad to say, my house is not faraway from Chinese Garden.
I will post the pics I took in my next blogging session.

Boring at home so I turn my attention to the little princess. She was awake so I lifted her up, place her in my bed and gave her a basketball. The basketball look kinda fake, huh? As if it was cut and paste onto momo's pic. But no, it was real. Momo is really holding onto it when I took these pics. I oso dunno why the ball got such effects when I took these pics. Look so red, huh?

Papa, I passed the ball to you.. You go slam dunk okay?

This pic reminds of me a movie by Tom Hanks, Cast Away... Anyone of you saw the show will know who is Wilson... Yeah, momo is talking to Wilson. But in the show, Wilson is not a basketball.

No, go away... I dun want to play with you... I only want to play with my papa...

I was doing OT again at River Hong Bao last sat. I was detailed for patrolling again... This time I walked around and I saw a toy I think momo will like to play with. Well, it's more like it's for me to play with. It only cost $3... I doesn't know if it's expensive or not but I think it's for momo so it doesn't matter. As long as she likes it, I dun mind paying a bit more. But it seems that momo is pretty terrified of her new toy. When I shake it in front of her, her eyes are so widely opened and she actually stares at it, her body moves away from her natural straight position when she was sitting in her walker. I tries to put it in her hand, she doesn't want to clinch her fists and she actually drops it on the floor. You know normally momo will touch anything she sees and her fists are so strongly clinched but for the case of this little drum, it was otherwise.

Maybe she is afraid of the sound when it hits the drum, or... I dunno.

Ancient folks will use it to humour their babies, crying babies. I was thinking maybe momo will likes it.

A closed up of the drum...

After a couple of tries, momo dare to touch it. She was so curious touching and seeing if anything she can eat.

Is the two balls at the side can be eaten? Some kind of sweets?

Huh? This thing how to play one? Papa I want a bigger one, can?

I think got some words inscribed on it leh... but hor, it oso seems like some dirt left over...

I bought for her one new toy at the River Hong Bao. Initially she was afraid to hold it, but I keep on putting it in her hands.. Soon she was curious to play with it.

Mon is momo's appointment for her 3rd jab. I was teasing her that the nurse is going to poke poke her at the thigh. She seems to understand what I'm trying to say to her.
Outside the room, my mom was talking to a newly give birth mother. She told us she and her husband wanted to have a baby girl. Her baby is a boy, you see? Her son is only 3 months old but is about the same size of momo.

Noti momo lying on the weighing scale....

It reads 6.5kg... Momo is under-weight.

I checked with the nurse after momo has taken her jab. She told us that for a 8 month old baby like momo is now, her body weight should be about 8kg. Poor momo, she is not having enough nutrients.

Who say so? She drinks her milk, takes her cereal and eats her porridge regularly. She is so greedy, she always wants to bite food and pester me to share with her.

Smoking is the cause of the problem.

After her appointment, we take her to window shopping at West Mall. She likes to go shopping. She likes to touch things on display. We bring her to Tom and Stefaine. There got many baby stuffs to look at. We let her try on the hats on display, she hates it when someone put something on her head. She will quickly pulls it away. Hehe....

At 4 pm, we went to the food court for our dinner. She was sitting at her baby chair, hitting the table as we eat. Is it she was hungry? No, cos' she just taken her milk before we go for our dinner.

Can I have my spaghetti too? I want the mushroom soup too. Big big one, okay?

Where is my food, where is my food?

Momo is at the food court... She is hungry and she keeps on hitting the table with her hands. Signs of impatient...

Little momo is sucking her pacifier.
I was recently sick with flu and sore throat. Maybe I didn't get enough rest and drink enough water. Or maybe didn't eat enough fruits. Working too hard or doing too much OT lately.
Got no choice...
If I dun work hard, where to get the money to settle all the debts. So much debts to pay and yet in so little time. I should have told the germs to visit me later cos' I dun have the time to receive them now. But they come uninvited.
As long as my momo got enough to eat and she sleeps well, I dun mind if I dun have enough to eat and enough to sleep. Whenever I arrived home, I sees that momo is sleeping so soundly in her playpan, that really smoothes my heart. At least that makes me think that all the hard work outside is worthwhile.
